Job Description

Join our dynamic Corporate FP&A team as a strategic leader, partnering directly with the Executive Leaders leading our Corporate Functions (Finance, HR, Enterprise IT, Legal, Procurement, Real Estate & Marketing). This high-impact role oversees a ~$400M cost base, driving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting while playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of corporate functions. In addition, you will serve as the financial lead on major transformation programs around corporate functions, ensuring financial rigor and alignment with strategic objectives. You'll be a collaborative problem-solver, translating complex financial data into actionable business insights and influencing senior leaders to make data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Financial Strategy & Operations

    • Deliver comprehensive financial planning, forecasting (people costs, non-people costs, and capital expenditures), and insightful performance reporting.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic recommendations on financial impacts and supporting key investment decisions.

    • Optimize financial performance through cash flow management, ROI maximization, and scalable cost structure initiatives.

    • Proactively manage risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation plans.

    • Develop business cases, and financial models to assess opportunities

    • Conduct rigorous financial analysis to assess the ROI and financial impact.

    • Develop and manage detailed financial plans, budgets, and forecasts 

    • Provide regular financial reporting and updates to senior leadership on performance vs targets

  • Collaborate and Influence

    • Partner cross-functional to achieve business objectives and drive organizational change.

    • Effectively communicate and influence financial and non-financial audiences at all levels.

  • Champion Continuous Improvement

    • Lead initiatives to enhance FP&A processes, leveraging best practices, streamlining workflows, and implementing technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience.

  • Proven expertise in cost management, financial planning, financial modeling, business partnering and investment analysis.

  • Experience with revenue and full P&L management preferred.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a track record of leading complex projects.

  • Solid understanding of the media ecosystem, ideally with knowledge of Nielsen’s products and services.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.

  • Experience with SAP (S4Hana), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and SAC is a strong plus.
