Description

Sedric’s first dedicated demand-gen hire. Build the multi-channel pipeline engine across inbound, outbound,, and events. Defined by output, not activity.

Sedric is the AI compliance platform for financial services. Our agentic AI automates oversight across customer communications and marketing — real-time guardrails on calls, pre-approval review on every marketing asset, and post-publication monitoring across partners and channels. Because every customer gets a dedicated compliance model, accuracy goes up, false positives go down, and compliance teams move faster without taking on more risk.

Sedric is at an inflection point. Our customers — global lenders, banks, fintechs, and trading platforms — keep introducing us to other compliance leaders, and demand is outpacing what a manual, one-off approach to lead gen can deliver. The next chapter depends on turning that momentum into a system: a repeatable engine of outbound that lands, and event campaigns that fill the room with the right people.

We’re hiring our first dedicated Lead Generation Specialist to build it. We’re looking for a builder, not just an operator — someone who ships campaigns this week and designs the system that makes next quarter’s campaigns faster, cheaper, and better. You’ll join a small Marketing team reporting to the VP of Marketing, working hybrid out of our New York office. We run a tight review cadence, default to writing things down, and default to ownership over coordination. Growing startup mindset — that means more responsibility per person, less process, and a higher bar.

What You’ll Do

You will own the qualified pipeline contribution.

Campaign ownership

  • End-to-end execution across inbound, outbound, and event-driven channels — from targeting and messaging through launch, optimization, and follow-up.
  • Outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and data platforms (Apollo, Clay, and similar) — list-building, segmentation, sequencing, and weekly cadence with the SDR team.
  • Targeted attendance to webinars, conferences, and executive dinners through highly segmented outreach and coordinated promotional campaigns to ICP accounts and personas.
  • Structured follow-up that converts registrations, attendees, and interactions into qualified pipeline — the part most teams skip.
  • Targeting logic and CRM hygiene: clean data, clean tracking, attribution that everyone trusts.

AI-driven execution

  • Use AI tools to generate and iterate on outreach copy, ad creative, landing pages, and campaign assets — at speed.
  • Test variations at scale to improve response rates, conversion, and cost efficiency. Ship 10 versions, not 1 perfect one.
  • Find new ways to automate workflows and increase output without sacrificing quality.
Requirements

You’re a fit if…

  • Two-to-four years of lead gen or demand gen at a B2B SaaS company. You owned at least one channel end to end — not “supported” it. You can describe the segment, the copy, the result, and what you changed when v1 underperformed.
  • Hands-on with outbound tools (Apollo, Clay, and similar). You don’t need a manager to get a campaign live.
  • You’ve driven measurable attendance and pipeline from webinars, events, or field marketing — not just shown up to support the team.
  • Strong command of AI tools for content, creative, and workflow automation. You’d rather ship 10 versions than perfect 1.
  • Shipper. You can take a campaign from idea to live in days, not weeks. You don’t need three rounds of review to send the first version.
  • Builder. You don’t just run plays — you build the systems and workflows that make the next ten plays cheaper, faster, and easier to run.
  • Comfortable owning a number — pipeline, conversion — not just tasks. High output, low ego, accountable for results.

You’re probably not a fit if…

  • Your background is from consumer, or non-tech. We need someone who already knows the B2B SaaS funnel.
  • You want a complete playbook handed to you. As our first dedicated lead-gen hire, the engine is yours to build — that’s the opportunity.
  • You measure your week by campaigns “in flight” instead of pipeline shipped.
  • You’re skeptical of AI tools in execution. We expect you to use them daily.
  • You think outbound or events are dead. They’re not, when run well — and we’re betting on running them well.
What Success Looks Like
  • Day 30 — You’ve shipped two outbound campaigns into production with the SDR team and we can see the open, reply, and meeting numbers live in HubSpot.
  • Day 60 — Your first webinar or event promotional campaign converts to a measurable lift in ICP attendance, not just registrations.
  • Day 90 — You own the lead-gen weekly review. Marketing-sourced pipeline is on the leadership dashboard with a name next to it — yours — attributed across outbound, and events.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $95,000–$115,000, plus equity.

Final compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience and is subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. Equity is awarded in accordance with the Company’s plans and policies.

  • Health Care Plan — Medical, Dental & Vision
  • Retirement Plan — 401(k) and Roth
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off — vacation, sick, and public holidays

How to apply

Send your resume to [email protected] and one paragraph on a multi-channel campaign you owned — what segment, what channel mix, what shipped, and what the numbers were. We read the paragraph first.
