Position Summary

NFTE is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and systems-oriented professional to serve as Lead Revenue Operations Specialist. Reporting to the Director, Revenue & Strategic Partnerships, this role is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure, systems, processes, and reporting capabilities that support a high-performing Revenue & Strategic Partnerships function.

The Lead Revenue Operations Specialist serves as the operational backbone of the team's growth efforts, ensuring CRM integrity, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, reporting consistency, and process discipline across all partnership development activities.

This role partners closely with the Revenue & Strategic Partnerships team, Finance, Advancement, Marketing, Product, Program Delivery, and Executive Leadership to provide actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision making

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with process design expertise and enjoys creating systems that enable teams to perform at their highest level.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Operations & Process Management (30%)

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve revenue operations processes and workflows.
  • Establish standardized partnership development procedures, stage definitions, and operating practices.
  • Create and maintain proposal, contracting, pricing, and approval workflows.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Develop scalable systems that support organizational growth and expansion.

CRM Management & Data Integrity (25%)

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator and business owner for the Revenue & Strategic Partnerships team's CRM processes and workflows. Maintain CRM structure, workflows, automation, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of accounts, opportunities, partnerships, revenue, and activities.
  • Monitor data quality and implement corrective actions when needed.

Pipeline Management & Forecasting (20%)

  • Support partnership teams in maintaining accurate pipeline data and opportunity management.
  • Develop and manage forecasting processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, sales cycle trends, and revenue performance.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting reports.
  • Support leadership with scenario planning and revenue projections.

Analytics & Business Intelligence (15%)

  • Develop dashboards and performance reporting tools.
  • Analyze revenue, partnership, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support organizational planning and strategic decision-making through data analysis.
  • Track key performance indicators and success metrics.

Training & Enablement (5%)

  • Train staff on CRM systems, reporting tools, and operational procedures.
  • Develop user guides, documentation, and process resources.
  • Support adoption of new systems, workflows, and best practices.
  • Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and user support.

Cross Functional Collaboration (5%)

  • Partner with Finance on revenue reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Advancement, Product, Program Delivery, and Marketing teams on shared reporting needs.
  • Support organizational initiatives requiring partnership, revenue, or market data.
  • Ensure alignment between growth strategies and operational systems.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in revenue operations, business operations, CRM administration, sales operations, data analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience managing CRM platforms and reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and data analysis.

Preferred:

  • Salesforce administration or advanced Salesforce user experience.
  • Experience supporting business development, partnerships, fundraising, or revenue-generating teams.
  • Experience within education, nonprofit, workforce development, social impact, or technology organizations.
  • Experience developing dashboards and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms and workflow automation tools.
  • Candidates located in states where NFTE currently has programs are preferred, including Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, Arizona, and California.

Travel

Minimal travel required (0–10%), with occasional attendance at organizational meetings, conferences, or planning sessions.

  • CRM adoption is consistent across the Revenue & Strategic Partnerships team.
  • Forecasting processes are reliable and trusted by leadership.
  • Standardized workflows and operating procedures are documented and implemented.
  • Leadership has real-time visibility into pipeline health, revenue performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Reporting supports faster and more informed decision-making.
  • Operational systems effectively support continued organizational growth and expansion.

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Generous benefits, including:
