Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Specialty Software Engineer in New York , NY.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Lead complex initiatives on selected domains; ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk; define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost; lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies; resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature; lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives; mentor less experienced software engineers; collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers; lead team to achieve objectives; and partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. and 5 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
Position requires the following:
  • 3 years of Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience;
  • 3 years Java development experience;
  • 2 years of relational database or NoSQL database experience;
  • 2 years of experience in derivative analytics;
  • 2 years of experience in highly scalable, performant and robust risk platforms; and
  • 1 year of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence
Salary: $191,000 - $305,000
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
