Our Story

TopDog Law is not your typical law firm. We're a nationally scaling personal injury firm built for impact and growth — owning the client experience end-to-end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We believe that world-class marketing, paired with exceptional legal talent and operations, creates better experiences and outcomes for clients and the business alike.

Over the past three years, we've grown 2–3x year over year, setting a new standard on the marketing side of the personal injury space and proving what's possible when strategy, speed, and execution align. Now we're applying that same discipline and innovation to firm operations, case management, and national scale — intentionally building the infrastructure, systems, and teams to grow without sacrificing quality, culture, or accountability.

We are a fully remote team that share trust, open communication, and a commitment to doing great work. If you love ownership, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel right at home here.

The Opportunity

We are building a case team that gets better every time we hire, not one that leans on tenured staff to informally show new people the ropes. The Learning Solutions Specialist owns how new case managers, paralegals, pre-litigation attorneys, and attorneys learn the firm's standards and get productive fast, and how existing staff stay sharp as our processes evolve. You will sit close to case teams, build training that mirrors real files and real client calls, and be measured on how fast new hires ramp and how consistently tenured staff applies the standard, not on how many slides or job aids you produce.

What You Will Own

  • Case manager and paralegal onboarding. Design and deliver onboarding covering case management systems, demand package construction, client communication standards, and escalation protocols, so new hires are producing usable work within their first weeks.
  • Attorney and pre-litigation attorney onboarding. Build onboarding that covers firm case strategy standards, settlement targets, file ownership expectations, and internal systems, working in direct partnership with Managing Attorneys and senior attorneys who validate legal content and judgment calls.
  • Case Manager Backup. The proven ability and understanding of the personal injury industry and TopDog Law’s operational knowledge needed to fill gaps for staff support when not leading a training session.
  • SME partnership, not legal ownership. Partner with attorney and case management leadership as subject matter experts for anything requiring legal judgment. Own the learning design and delivery; do not own legal strategy or case decisions.
  • Ongoing training driven by real gaps. Run ongoing training that responds to actual performance signals, quality scores, case velocity, and compliance findings, rather than a fixed annual calendar.
  • Assessment and certification. Build and maintain role-specific assessments and certification checkpoints so ramp time and skill gaps are visible to leadership instead of assumed.
  • Field-ready materials. Develop training materials, job aids, and quick reference guides built to hold up in a fast-paced, high-volume caseload environment.
  • Measurement and reporting. Track ramp time, quality outcomes, and training effectiveness by role, and report findings to Learning Solutions leadership.
  • Fast credibility with tenured staff. Build trust quickly with staff who have more tenure than you, at TopDog Law or elsewhere, by demonstrating case-team fluency rather than claiming authority.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Experience working within a personal injury law firm or other professional services environment with credentialed staff (attorneys, paralegals, case managers, medical providers, clinicians).
  • Expertise with Filevine, our case management/CRM platform, or other directly related CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Clio, SmartAdvocate) or equivalent systems in another regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build training for both process-heavy roles (case managers, paralegals) and judgment-heavy roles (attorneys), or a clear point of view on how you would approach both.
  • Strong instructional design skills: needs analysis, curriculum design, assessment design, and measurement of training effectiveness.
  • Comfort partnering with senior subject matter experts (attorneys, Managing Attorneys) and incorporating their input without losing ownership of the learning design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex material for a mixed-tenure, mixed-background audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent training builds in a high-volume, fast-changing environment.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • 2+ years designing and delivering training in a fast-paced, production-driven personal injury legal environment (these industries may be taken into consideration: compliance, insurance, financial services, healthcare operations, or similar regulated or high-volume setting preferred).
  • Experience building certification or competency checkpoints tied to measurable performance outcomes.
  • Background operating in fast-evolving start-up, still-maturing organizational structures.

Who Thrives Here (Core Values)

We don't hire on resumes alone. We hire for competence, character, and mindset.

  • Embrace Change: Open to feedback, embracing change, and always asking "what's next?"
  • Committed: You care deeply, have your teammates' backs, and show up to build something lasting.
  • No-Ego Energy: Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented. Drama stays at the door.
  • Ownership: You do what you say, follow through, and treat the business like it's yours.
  • Fast & Hungry: You move with urgency, thrive under high expectations, and are motivated by growth and impact.

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: $72,200 and $92,600, commensurate with experience
  • Eligible for performance-based bonus
  • Our job postings reflect the compensation range for the specific market and location of each role. Ranges vary by geography based on local market rates and cost of labor.
  • Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, HSA, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and parental leave.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We are an equal opportunity employer. Employment selection and related decisions are made without regard to age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identification, or being a qualified disabled veteran or qualified veteran of the Vietnam era or any other category protected by Federal or State law.
