Role Summary
The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities. Depending on placement, participants may assist with audits, reporting, compliance, financial transactions, client onboarding, technology, risk management, trade execution, prime brokerage, and client services. In addition to practical experience, the program emphasizes professional development, offering exposure to industry practices, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration alongside experienced professionals.
Graduates are expected to start no later than September 2026.

The Legal Department at Marex plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s capital markets activities by acting as a strategic partner and risk manager, ensuring that business operations align with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. As part of a centralized function, the team advises on transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters, partnering closely with business units to navigate complex legal frameworks and exchange rules. This department not only provides strategic oversight and guidance to business units but also establishes the minimum required standards for legal and governance practices, reinforcing Marex’s commitment to transparency, consistency, and operational excellence throughout its global footprint, while supporting business growth within a strong legal and risk management framework.
Purpose of Role
The Legal Analyst is responsible for supporting the US Legal team across transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters, providing assistance with research, analysis, and documentation to ensure the firm operates within applicable legal frameworks. This role will focus on assisting with legal research, preparing documentation, and supporting ongoing legal activities, while providing additional capacity to the team and enabling senior members to focus on strategic advisory, complex matters, and stakeholder engagement.

By delivering timely legal analysis and support, the Legal team enables informed decision-making and ensures compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement in legal processes and the effective management of legal risk.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in-house counsel with legal research by gathering and summarizing applicable laws and regulations related to transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters.
- Provide support to in-house counsel in preparing and organizing legal documents, including materials for transactions, filings, and governance.
- Help track changes in legal and regulatory requirements and assist in-house counsel with updating internal processes and policies as needed.
- Provide general support to the Legal team by helping with day-to-day tasks under the guidance of in-house counsel, enabling senior team members to focus on complex and strategic matters.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining legal records and workflows, ensuring documents are properly stored and accessible in accordance with internal guidelines; support efforts to stay informed on regulatory developments.
- Support in-house counsel with compliance-related tasks, including helping track requirements under SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable regulatory bodies.
- Follow established operational and risk management procedures for the role, and assist in-house counsel in ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements

Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.
• Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.
