Job duties:
Work onsite in Uniondale M-F 9am to 5pm.
The Legal Assistant will provide litigation support to our commercial loans and banking team.
- Organize and catalogue documents pertinent to transaction closings.
- Draft supporting loan documents, reports, memoranda and correspondence.
- Maintain filing system, ensuring accessibility completeness and accuracy of the database.
- Draft routine correspondence and transmittal letters.
- Enter billing information, maintain time records, and assist with invoicing as needed.
- Format, proofread, and revise legal documents related to lending transactions.
