About the Role

We’re hiring a Legal Engineer to join Chamelio as a core member of our customer-facing team.

This is a deeply client-facing role. Your primary responsibility is working hands-on with modern in-house legal teams to help them adopt, scale, and extract real value from Chamelio’s legal intelligence platform.

You will be a day-to-day partner to customers. You’ll lead onboarding and training, help teams operationalize their legal knowledge, solve real legal operations challenges, and ensure customers see impact quickly and consistently. You’ll also represent Chamelio in product demos and ongoing conversations with prospective customers.

You’ll join an existing, growing team at a company that is scaling rapidly, with meaningful ownership, trust, and visibility from day one.

While the role is primarily customer facing, you’ll also work closely with product and sales to translate customer insights into product improvements and help shape how Chamelio evolves as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-facing (core focus):

  • Lead onboarding and training for in-house legal teams using Chamelio

  • Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their workflows, constraints, and goals

  • Configure and implement Chamelio to fit real-world legal and legal ops processes

  • Support customers through adoption, change management, and scaling

  • Deliver high-quality product demos to prospects and existing customers

  • Collect, structure, and communicate customer feedback to inform product direction

Additional contributions:

  • Collaborate with product on testing and refining new features

  • Contribute domain expertise to how legal knowledge is structured and operationalized

  • Stay current on developments in legal tech, legal operations, and applied AI

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to candidates coming from the following backgrounds:

  • Legal operations professionals who have worked closely with in-house legal teams and tooling

  • Customer-facing roles at legal tech companies (e.g., legal engineer, solutions consultant, implementation manager)

Across all backgrounds, we’re looking for:

  • 4–10 years of relevant experience in legal ops, or legal tech roles

  • Hands-on experience in an in-house legal environment

  • Strong commercial contracting familiarity

  • Comfort working directly with customers and presenting to senior stakeholders

  • High technical curiosity and comfort working with modern legal tech and AI tools

  • Startup mindset: pragmatic, accountable, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment

Why Join Chamelio

Chamelio is building a new category in legal tech: legal intelligence, not just document management or generic AI. Our customers already rely on us to run core legal workflows, and we’re growing quickly.

In this role, you’ll have real ownership, direct exposure to customers and leadership, and a tangible impact on how in-house legal teams adopt AI in practice. You’ll help shape both the customer experience and the product itself at a company that’s already scaling, not just getting started.
