About Linero

Linero is building the operational infrastructure that ensures the world's most sensitive technologies reach the right hands, and never the wrong ones.

Our customers include some of the most consequential companies in the world: leading AI labs, aerospace and defense primes, semiconductor giants, quantum computing pioneers, and companies pushing the frontier in chemicals, advanced manufacturing, and robotics.

We are an AI-native, venture-backed company creating a new category of software at the intersection of national security, industrial infrastructure, and enterprise AI.

The Role

As Legal & Operations Manager at Linero, you will sit at a unique intersection: part internal legal and operational backbone, part domain expert feeding critical intelligence into the product itself. You will help manage Linero's own legal and operational affairs while working closely with the product team to curate and organize the regulatory landscape that underpins what we build. This is a role for someone with sharp legal instincts, strong organizational skills, and a genuine interest in the policy and regulatory environment shaping frontier technology.

What You'll Own

  • Curate and organize regulatory and policy developments relevant to Linero's product and customer base, feeding structured intelligence to the product team

  • Work closely with product managers and policy lead to ensure regulatory updates are accurately reflected in product requirements and roadmap priorities

  • Manage Linero's internal legal affairs: contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and HR compliance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for outside counsel, coordinating on legal matters and ensuring timely execution

  • Build and maintain internal legal and operational processes that scale as the company grows

  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance in coordination with leadership

  • Manage operational workflows and ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a legal, paralegal, or operations role; ideally at a technology company, law firm, or similarly fast-moving environment

  • Strong understanding of contract management, vendor agreements, and general corporate legal affairs

  • Familiarity with the regulatory and policy landscape around technology, national security, or related domains is a strong plus

  • Exceptional organizational skills: you can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing the thread

  • Strong written communication

  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset: you anticipate what needs to happen and make sure it does

  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where the scope of the role will evolve

  • Based in New York City

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience

  • Early equity in a company with proven market demand and a clear growth trajectory

  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision

  • The opportunity to build the legal and operational foundation of a company solving critical national security challenges

  • A high-ownership, high-autonomy environment where your work has direct and visible impact

  • A front-row seat to one of the most consequential technology buildouts of our time

Equal Opportunity & Eligibility

  • Linero is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status

  • This role requires access to export-controlled information, as a result, applicants must be U.S. persons (citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees) as defined under applicable U.S. law

  • Start date is immediate, with flexibility for the right candidate
