ROLE OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing support to the private lending business in the private bank and to the business making loans to clients of the private wealth management business, including unsecured, securities based, commercial real estate loans, art loans and loans against other unique assets. The ideal candidate will have experience, preferably in a bank, providing advice, drafting documentation and working with outside counsel on loans for private wealth clients. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for regulatory developments with respect to loans related to private banking and working with the business and compliance management to ensure proper policies and procedures are adopted in connection with regulatory developments.
The candidate will also assist compliance with regulatory reviews of the private banking business.
QALIFICATIONS
- Ideally a minimum of 10 years of experience advising lenders and/or borrowers.
- Proven expertise in a range of loan products, such as unsecured loans, securities-based lending, commercial real estate financing, and asset-based lending (art financing and other unique assets).
- Strong understanding of relevant banking regulations.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- JD or equivalent
