The Team: The Enterprise Solutions Revenue team is an ambitious, fast-paced group that focuses on solutions-based selling in order to maximize our client experience. We operate in a high-growth industry with a lot of investment and an evolving product set to meet clients’ changing needs.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Drive sales of loan management and administration software and services, with primary accountability for team performance, organizational growth, and commercial execution.

• Lead and scale a team of sales professionals focused on both retention and new business growth, providing subject matter expertise and strategic oversight for multidisciplinary initiatives.

• Engage with executive stakeholders internally and externally, maintaining relationships with management committees and external parties to represent the organization and influence support for key initiatives.

• Drive sales excellence through effective pipeline management, forecasting, pricing strategy, and deal governance, demonstrating financial and budget responsibility for the business area.

• Provide executive sponsorship and strategic guidance for complex, multi-year, multi-product enterprise opportunities, deducing solutions with multiple sources of input and understanding costs/benefits.

• Hiring, developing, and retaining top-performing sales talent, building leadership bench strength and succession plans, and upholding quality standards across the business line.

• Set territory, coverage, and account segmentation strategy, establishing performance expectations, coaching frameworks, and accountability measures.

• Partner with Revenue Operations on quota design, compensation plans, and sales productivity initiatives, influencing across a large matrixed organization without formal authority and making data-driven tradeoffs.

• Remain current on market trends and best practices, applying this understanding to institute methodologies and standards, thereby influencing the market.

• Lead others in how to live S&P Global purpose and values and how to connect them to the day-to-day work.

• All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 to $250,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:

• An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales leadership, with a proven track record of delivering consistent revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.

• Strong background in selling software solutions and services, with a deep understanding of loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and private credit, demonstrating advanced industry knowledge including market trends, client behavior, and competitive landscape.

• Broad and extensive knowledge of theories and practices within the lending solutions business line and its interrelationship with other areas, understanding the loan lifecycle as one connected client decision.

• Experience in leading teams of 5+ quota-carrying professionals, measurably improving productivity, engagement, and commercial performance.

• Ability to set a clear and inspiring vision aligned to the enterprise and division/function strategy, and motivate others to achieve it.

• We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

• Excellent Communication, able to articulate complex ideas across functions and levels, negotiate effectively, and influence stakeholders.

• Strong Leadership, including the ability to think strategically, coach, develop, and empower others to maximize performance, and build leadership bench strength and succession plans.
