The role:
We are looking for licensed insurance professionals to act as the frontline champions of our insurance agency. In this role, you will serve as the go-to guide for our users as they navigate their insurance protection journeys. You will own the entire post-purchase experience - troubleshooting complex billing issues, processing endorsements, adjusting coverage on the fly, spotting upsell opportunities, and saving accounts at risk of churning. If you are a naturally empathetic problem-solver who loves insurance and wants to help users get the most value out of our all-in-one platform, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Engage potential and current members via phone, email, text, and chat to assist with their insurance needs
- Respond quickly to customer needs helping to resolve inquires quickly and efficiently
- Help collect post-bind documentation to ensure customer policies are handled properly
- Navigate 20+ carrier portals to adjust coverages with high accuracy
- Receive customer service inquiries from a variety of sources helping our agents focus on selling
- Monitor the book of business to identify retention opportunities
- Review renewals to ensure customers have the most up to date information
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and help close any coverage gaps.
We are a small team looking for someone who wants to be collaborative, identify problems, and have a voice in making the business better.
What you’ll need:
- 2+ years of experience selling Property & Casualty Insurance
- Must have valid state active licenses in Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven interpersonal and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals are highly preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay organized to meet deadlines on time
- Ability to analyze members' needs and provide a tailored insurance solution
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to take an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
Nice to have:
- Independent agency experience working with broad range of insurance carriers
- Life insurance experience

Our New York office, located in the meat-packing district, provides an open work environment and is a hub for our finance teams. Our large conference, flexible work spaces, huddle rooms, and shared community areas allows our teams to openly collaborate while looking at some spectacular views.
