About Novellia

Novellia is the first and only company that lets anyone in the U.S. gain access to nearly a decade of their health data in under 30 seconds — 100% free. All your health records, across every doctor, in one place, always up to date.

We are the only patient-powered real-world data platform delivering comprehensive, patient-authorized longitudinal health insights to accelerate biopharma innovation. Unlike traditional RWD providers who deliver fragmented institutional data, we empower patients to access 20+ years of their health records, then transform these complete health journeys into fit-for-purpose datasets for evidence generation, regulatory submissions, and market access. We are growing 5x year over year, have raised close to $30M in funding, and are backed by tier-1 investors including Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, and Bling Capital.

Working with the world's top researchers, we turn health insights into life-changing action for millions of people around the world.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of SDR or outbound prospecting experience, with a track record of exceeding targets of booking qualified meetings that converted to closed deals

  • Life sciences prospecting experience; RWD/RWE familiarity strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to qualify leads rigorously before pushing it down the funnel - we need people who maximize the team’s time & opportunities

  • Strong CRM skills and experience with AI-driven prospecting tools

  • Preference for NYC-based; EST or CST timezone required

What you will do
  • Own top-of-funnel outreach end-to-end: build prospect lists, write and execute multi-touch outbound sequences, and relentlessly work your pipeline until you get a meeting

  • Lead the first 1-2 discovery calls with prospective biopharma and biotech clients to qualify the opportunity, understand the research question, and assess fit before bringing in your Partnerships Director to go deeper

  • Develop a working understanding of Novellia's registry assets, data capabilities, and differentiators so you can hold a credible scientific and commercial conversation with HEOR, RWE, and Medical Affairs stakeholders

  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene. Every account, contact, activity, and next step should be logged so nothing falls through the cracks and your pod lead always has full visibility

  • Coordinate across internal teams (Client Solutions, Legal, Finance, and Leadership) to respond quickly to scoping requests, patient cohort definitions, MSA/SOW processes, and pricing. Speed matters in competitive deals.

  • Support your Partnerships Director on active deal flows, follow-ups, proposal prep, and meeting materials so deals move efficiently from qualification to close

  • Track and report on your prospecting metrics weekly, including meetings booked, conversion rates, and pipeline coverage, and bring a point of view on what is working and what needs to change

  • Stay current on the biopharma RWE landscape, competitive intelligence, and the disease areas in your pod's focus so your outreach is informed and resonates

What great looks like
  • Relentless, high-volume prospector who doesn't take no for an answer — most of our prospects haven't heard of Novellia yet, so this person needs to build credibility from scratch on every outreach

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; our deal volume is high and things fall through the cracks without strong follow-through

  • Clear communicator — verbal and written — who can quickly articulate Novellia's value prop and differentiators in cold outreach

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, small-team environment

  • Self-directed and doesn't need hand-holding to fill a pipeline

Why Novellia
  • Mission that matters. We're giving patients ownership of their health data and using it to accelerate the next generation of therapies.

  • A genuinely differentiated product. No one else has patient-authorized longitudinal data at our depth and scale.

  • Ground-floor commercial role. You'll work directly with the CS and leadership team, have real deal ownership from day one, and grow as the company grows.

  • NYC hybrid culture. 50/50 in-office / remote, with a tight, high-caliber team you'll actually want to be in a room with.

Benefits & Perks
  • Equity in Novellia

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Flexible time off

  • Wellness stipend

  • Up to 12 weeks of parental leave

  • Up to $115k base salary + 50% of salary as a commission

Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Novellia, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
