The Berkeley Partnership is an independently owned management consulting firm based in London and New York. For over 30 years, Berkeley has been doing things a little differently for both our clients and our people – working together to show how consulting should be. We work with large, high-profile clients, shaping and delivering complex and transformational change.

We're looking for passionate, dedicated and talented consultants who thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven to deliver great results for our clients. We don’t recruit for functional expertise or industry specialism but for core consulting skills and adaptability. The work we do for our clients requires a combination of effective leadership, strategy and delivery expertise so we look to hire and develop consultants who want to grow by helping our clients tackle their most critical challenges, often by working as an integral part of our clients' leadership teams.

There’s a strong focus on personal and professional development with a Partner to Consultant ratio of 1:4. We don’t do hierarchy so there are just two levels, Partner and Consultant which fosters a unique collaborative culture across the whole firm.

We are a relationship-based business. Therefore, our consultants can expect to spend time on site with our clients and colleagues and actively contribute to our community. They should also be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of our clients which may involve some travel. However, we do not anticipate our consultants working away from home consistently for long periods.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 6-10 years’ consulting experience
  • Reached "Manager" or "Senior Manager" grade or equivalent at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Experience leading a team in a significant workstream, project or program, demonstrating strong project/program management and consulting skills
  • A proven history of building strong and trusted relationships with Fortune 500 clients
  • Adept at communicating complex ideas persuasively and concisely
  • Exposure to technology as a key component of your projects
  • A desire to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Achieved a Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education
  • Located within easy reach of our New York hub in Midtown Manhattan

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle from strategy to delivery
  • Knowledge of how to leverage technology and digital assets to deliver lasting business change by having led workstreams that follow the SDLC
  • Project budget responsibilities

In return, we offer:

  • Competitive base salary ($175,000 - $250,000 to start)
  • 30 days (six weeks) PTO plus company holidays
  • 401(k) employer match
  • Medical and dental insurance for you and your family (no monthly premiums)
  • Comprehensive life insurance
  • Fully paid parental leave for up to 22 weeks (available from day one)
  • Annual health and wellbeing benefit
  • Five discretionary days per year to volunteer with our charity partners
  • Ongoing training and development throughout your career
  • A supportive and collegiate environment
  • Regular and inclusive social events
  • Options for part-time working

Equal Opportunity Statement:

The Berkeley Partnership is an equal opportunity employer. We aim to foster a warm, open culture of belonging that enables our people to fulfill their potential, no matter their background, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexuality, disability or working style.
