Overview:
The Account Management team is looking for an Account Manager role to drive our B2B customer strategy for financial institutions or other business partners forwarded through in-depth engagement and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about expanding existing business as well as development of new business opportunities with customers through consultative sales with entrepreneurial mindset.
The individual must work cross functionally with various teams, including Sales, Product, Marketing, Treasury, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Delivery and Operations to help the selling success and ensure customer satisfaction.
The individual is ideal to have working experience in payment industry and an in-depth knowledge of the cards / payments business, relationship and stakeholder management.
Role:
Design and drive business with key customers as an Account manager. Face our partner issuers / acquirers and conduct business under guidance by senior Account team leads and co-work with multiple internal functions.
- Manage existing customer relationships, and work to identify opportunities and customer needs. Connect customer needs with potential MA solutions with relevant teams, including partnership potential with customer group.
- Further, develop new/potential business partners in accordance with Sales development strategy for Mastercard business expansion in the market.
- Structure and develop customized pitches and proposals to meet client needs and addressing opportunities.
- Arrange client engagement throughout sales cycle and negotiate to gain strong outcomes for Mastercard.
- Arrange all aspects of client servicing and client satisfaction
- Conduct necessary administrations and reporting to manage and grow MA revenue.• Cross-sell relevant Mastercard solutions, as appropriate• Negotiate, execute and manage the customer contract agreement process ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing.
All About You:
- Fluent in Japanese and business level in English language.
- Basic business skills. (e.g. Multi-task management, analysis, documentation, presentation)
- Consultative Sales, business development or equivalent experience would be preferable.
- Knowledge / experience on payments, card business, or IT / Strategy consulting experience would be plus.• Communication skills to manage complex internal and external relationships • Ability to develop trust and credibility with peers, internal and external stakeholders. • Proven work experience as an Key Account Manager, B2B engagement or relevant role.
