People manager and role model who oversees direct reports and their book of business and able to identify key problems and solutions to client issues. Mentors and develops multi-level account managers through best practices, regular coaching and delegation. Partners with sales and services managers to drive cross functional success.
What you'll do:
- Leads and mentors high performing Account Managers through acquisition of product knowledge, consultative up-selling skills, client messaging, strategic conversation and negotiation skills, and navigation tactics to address customer objectives and problems.
- Set goals and provides feedback on performance of team members helping clients’ address their business challenges with recommendations backed up with proven data/insight/results.
- Develop and execute account strategy that will maximize the amount of advertiser spend with Quantcast’s managed service and platform offerings.
- Serve as a liaison to clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities while ensuring that clients are satisfied with their business growth.
- Recruit, evaluate, hire and onboard top account management talent to meet growth expectations.
- Ensure the quality of work across their direct reports exceeds expectations. Ensures that we have growth strategies in place for our largest accounts and that we are triaging any client risks.
- Set a clear development framework for individuals to see paths to their career goals and have tangible milestones to achieve them.
- Identifies top revenue opportunities within their team, drives accountability to activate opportunities and ensures the team proactively communicates with customers to retain accounts and revenue.
- Influences cross-functional relationships between the Sales & CS teams.
Who you are:
- Education: College Degree.
- Experience: 6+ Years experience in advertising/marketing industry with broad context around industry best practices within media and digital advertising.
- Manager of a local team with different levels of maturity and experience of Corporate or Field Sales Account Managers.
- Solid understanding of the digital landscape, principles of marketing, advertising and media strategy (both brand and direct response), as well as media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements.
- Awareness and ability to uncover client business issues, discuss industry trends, consumer trends and how these can be translated to develop effective advertiser strategy.
- Must possess strong written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, verbal skills. Superior organizational, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $144,200 - $167,600
