Job Description:

The Manager will be called upon for end-to-end campaign activation. The Manager is accountable for monitoring campaign performance and proactively ensuring optimizations are implemented to deliver against campaign goals. They provide oversight of QA and operational best practices. The Manager assists the senior leaders with managing timelines and priorities to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables. Beyond day-to-day team deliverables, they foster knowledge-sharing and support senior leaders with central tasks and are key to cultivating a culture of teamwork and collaboration. 

 

The Manager is expected to have a strong working knowledge of media, specifically social media, inclusive of the associated tools, as well as the finance and compliance processes inherent in a media buying business. Experience in campaign operations, combined with client commercial roles would be most suitable, but the most important factor is to meld commercial, finance, process, and technology skillsets together to improve business processes and outcomes. Any knowledge of programmatic media, linear, audio and OOH buying is a plus. This role is a step toward greater leadership within the network. 

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Accountable for daily team operations and campaign excellence, ensuring best practices are evident in work of the activation/investment team 

  • Will own campaign activation, troubleshooting, and optimization 

  • Ability to articulate optimizations, rationale, results, and recommendations in reporting commentary and on client calls, and address concerns as needed 

  • Partner with the Director to generate RFP responses and develop tactical recommendations showcasing innovative thinking across platforms, audiences & formats. 

  • Be an expert on the buying platforms, direct media buying processes, and internal dentsu products 

  • Identify and test emerging tech solutions and innovations, highlighting client value in results and sharing across client team 

  • Ensure the team adheres to defined processes for campaign management across social platforms, with extra oversight on hands-on-keys activation work 

  • Effectively manage expectations, timelines, and priorities 

  • Update team leads on team performance, campaign health, and strategic growth opportunities 

  • Contribute to thought leadership, POVs, or other shareable collateral that improves the overall level of knowledge across social investment teams 

  • Assist leadership with new business pitches

  • Strong experience across all digital media channels and ability to eloquently speak to each 

  • Proficient in social technology, platform, and partner solutions, including but not limited to platforms, ad servers, ad verification platforms, planning/financial platforms, DMPs, analytics & reporting dashboards, etc. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through 

  • Consistent, exceptional project management 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills 

  • Collaboration mindset with a proactive work ethic and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks 

  • Ability to retain professionalism in all situations 

  • Solutions orientated with strong critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills  

  • Strong experience working with business applications; MS Office Suite required 

 

 

The annual salary range for this position is $62,100-$83,088. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
