Role OverviewThe Manager, Agency Partnerships is responsible for leading a team of Agency Relationship Managers (ARMs) who manage and grow ZipRecruiter’s recruitment marketing agency partnerships.
This role is a front-line people manager focused on driving consistent revenue growth, ensuring strong execution across accounts, and developing ARMs into disciplined, effective owners of their agency relationships. The ideal candidate is a hands-on coach who can balance relationship management with operational rigor, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll DoTeam Leadership & Coaching- Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of Agency Relationship Managers
- Set clear expectations around account ownership, partner communication, deal execution, pipeline management, and forecasting
Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance check-ins; provide timely feedback and address performance gaps
Support hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new ARMs
- Drive consistent year-over-year revenue growth across agency-managed accounts
- Ensure ARMs develop and execute thoughtful account plans tied to spend growth, product adoption, and retention
- Support ARMs in complex deal strategy, negotiations, and partner escalations
- Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy
- Serve as an escalation point and strategic partner for key agency relationships as needed
- Ensure ZipRecruiter is represented professionally and consistently across all agency interactions
- Reinforce best practices for executive communication, meeting preparation, and follow-through
- Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, RevOps, and Decision Science to support agency initiatives and customer outcomes
- Help translate product updates, process changes, and commercial programs into clear guidance for ARMs and partners
- Provide feedback from agencies to internal teams to inform product and go-to-market improvements
- Reinforce standardized agency sales processes, tools, and operating rhythms
- Monitor forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and account coverage
- Identify gaps in execution or process and escalate patterns to senior leadership
- 4–6+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or account management within recruitment advertising or adjacent B2B media industries
- 1–3+ years of people management experience, including coaching and performance management
- Proven ability to manage complex relationships and support revenue growth through others
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience working with recruitment marketing agencies or programmatic advertising platforms
- Comfort operating in a metrics-driven environment with pipeline, forecast, and revenue accountability
- Ability to lead through ambiguity while maintaining clarity and expectations for the team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-facing interactions
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–40% of the time, as needed

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000.00 USD plus commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits
