The Role

The Manager, Executive Compensation is part of the Global Total Rewards team and is responsible for the management, implementation, and administration of executive compensation programs, policies and practices, including equity plans. This role requires a deep understanding of executive compensation and stock plan administration best practices, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure programs align with business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and/or refining executive compensation programs and policies that align with the company’s business goals and objectives, including global incentive compensation plans.
  • Partner with leadership to implement global executive compensation policies and practices.
  • Lead the administration of equity programs, including processing of annual grants, vests, tax withholding and monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Lead the design and administration of non-qualified compensation plan(s), including annual enrollment and monthly reporting.
  • Lead the administration of Director compensation programs and policies, including equity grants.
  • Conduct benchmarking analyses and market surveys to ensure executive compensation is competitive and aligned with compensation philosophy and industry best practices.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual Proxy Statement and other SEC-required reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Finance team on incentive compensation calculations, annual budgets and accrual reporting.
  • In partnership with Manager, Global Compensation, support the year-end compensation review and incentive compensation award process.
  • Assist in developing Compensation Committee meeting materials related to executive compensation, including drafting meeting agendas, preparing presentations, and conducting research.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the equity strategy including burn rate, overhang analysis and other dilution analysis.
  • Assist in developing and improving compensation administration processes and reporting in Workday.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR business partners on executive compensation related matters.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external consultants on executive compensation-related matters.
  • Lead special projects, acting as the Compensation subject matter expert on various projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive compensation.
  • Experience with equity administration and design of equity programs.
  • Ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee information.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including Pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation concepts to non-compensation professionals.
  • Strong detail orientation and commitment to quality and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to collaborate and build long-term, trusting relationships with leaders and other colleagues around the globe and across different areas of the business.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexible hours as needed; ability to drive to results and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CEP, CECP or other relevant certification.
  • Experience in professional services.
  • Experience in a global organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Workday.

Pay Range Guidelines for this Position:

The salary range for this position is 125000 USD to 175000 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. In addition to your salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility requirements) and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Note: we have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
