Job Summary
Manager of Finance for CPTO will be reporting directly to the VP of Finance, CPTO.
In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to autonomously work on budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, and serve as go-to resource for CPTO business leaders in achieving their operational and financial goals.
Responsibilities
• Budget/forecast
o Responsible for the development of strategic and financial aspects of annual budget/ monthly forecast
• Month End Close
o Work closely with accounting department to ensure accurate and consistent recording of revenue and expenses
o Ensure monthly entries are entered and posted on a timely manner
o Update and review each entity P&L
o CPTO Monthly, Quarterly, Annual financial reporting
o Analyze and explain monthly variances
o Prepare and present various monthly schedules to reflect financial results
• A resource for business leaders to help achieve operational and financial goals
o Update and review analysis outlining outcome vs plan and review with business leaders
o Work with business leaders to identify saving opportunities and efficiencies
o Ensure operating departments are adhering to company policies and procedures
• Foster effective information flow and communication to ensure financial results and reports are consistent
• Identify best practices to improve to current work flow and create efficiencies and consistencies across network
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with strong analytical skills and can take accountability/ownership to drive results
• Ability to adapt to changes in scope of position
• Cultivate cooperative working relationship, a team player, self-starter, adhere to deadlines while ensuring a high level of accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and quality
• Great interpersonal skills, excellent verbal & written communication, organize, attention to details, and can multitask
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast pace environment
• Fast learner with the ability to identify problems and seek solutions
• Willing to be flexible and work hard to support business needs
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase
• Industry experience is a plus
