Postion Summary:

The CAA Brand Consulting Insights & Analytics Manager will play an important role in some of our most high-profile client work and new-business initiatives.  This position will help to lead the development and ‘sell-in’ of Sports, Entertainment, and Impact strategies – partnering with Insights & Analytics Directors and VPs as well as Account leads to advise C-suite clients and their teams on how to leverage data-driven insights across each media channel and consumer touchpoint.  In this role, the candidate will interface day-to-day with our Account team and functional leaders (Creative, Strategy, Business Development, Experiential, etc.), inter-agency leaders, as well as directly with senior clients.

Essential Functions:

•    Support the design, implementation, and management of sponsorship strategy, valuation, and measurement initiatives across portfolio of clients  
•    Utilize third-party, internal, and client-owned research tools, including AI-based tools, to aggregate and analyze marketing data 
•    Use data visualization skills and tools and sharp judgement to analyze and package reports for key internal and external stakeholders 
•    Leverage data to develop new insights with the goal of improving planning and strategy execution 
•    Interact directly with internal teams and clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines  
•    Partner closely with our Strategy and Account teams to build and apply insight and data-driven personas, segmentation models, customer journeys and measurement frameworks 
•    Interpret category and consumer trends to inform sponsorship marketing, partnership, campaign and communication strategies 
•    Act as a bridge between internal teams – Account, New Business, Data, Strategy, Creative – facilitating optimal team outputs while balancing efficiency and effectiveness  
•    Proactively pitch innovative ideas, new partners, new channels, and test and learn opportunities
•    Manage junior staff members 
•    Cultivate relationships across CAA to find and promote new opportunities for clients

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business or similar discipline
•    4-6+ years of experience in a data-driven insights and strategic role  
•    Expertise in interpreting consumer research and data (quantitative & qualitative) and applying to solutions-based client strategies 
•    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills 
•    Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively and persuasively, including ability to present and adapt to different stakeholders  
•    Natural curiosity and a demonstrated ability to turn observed data into a story about what behavior is driving it 
•    Understanding of marketing, brand, and social metrics
•    Experience managing, developing, and mentoring junior team members

•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while being extremely detail-oriented

Preferred Skills: 

•    Experience developing Sports, Entertainment & Impact related sponsorship strategies
•    Experience developing questionnaires and designing and fielding primary research
•    Experience valuing partnership opportunities and assets
•    Experience designing and implementing sponsorship measurement campaigns
•    Experience with YouGov, GWI, Meltwater, or other syndicated research platforms
•    Experience with AI-based tools and platforms

Location

This role will be located in our New York office. The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires a minimum of three days per week on-site.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $93,000 - $115,000. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
