Overview
The Manager, Meeting Planning plays a critical role in delivering impactful, high-touch experiences that bring Mastercard's strategy, culture, and leadership priorities to life. This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of complex, large-scale meetings and events, including global conferences of up to 3,000 attendees and highly curated C-suite programs.
This individual is a strategic partner to senior leadership, balancing creativity with operational excellence to deliver seamless, on-brand experiences. The role requires a strong ability to manage complexity, anticipate needs, and execute with precision in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
Role
-Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of large-scale meetings, conferences, and executive programs, ensuring a best-in-class attendee experience
-Partner closely with C-suite leaders and senior stakeholders to design and deliver high-impact, confidential, and strategically aligned programs
-Manage all aspects of event delivery, including program development, logistics, production, budgeting, and on-site execution
-Lead venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation for complex, multi-day and multi-location events
-Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Finance, Communications, Travel, Security, Executive Administration) to ensure seamless alignment and execution
-Oversee vendor relationships, including production agencies, hotels, catering, transportation, and technology partners, ensuring high service levels and strong ROI
-Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents to ensure precision execution
-Manage attendee registration, communications, travel coordination, and expense tracking using platforms such as Cvent, Monday.com, and Concur
-Ensure exceptional VIP and executive experiences, with a high level of attention to detail and white-glove service
-Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for high-visibility programs
-Track, manage, and reconcile event budgets, identifying efficiencies while maintaining quality
-Evaluate event performance and incorporate insights to continuously enhance the meeting experience

-Strong financial acumen, including experience managing large budgets and contract negotiations
-Proficiency with event and project management tools such as Cvent, Monday.com, and Concur
