Role Overview
The Global Consumer Products and Processing Team is searching for a visionary Design Manager to partner with the Consumer Core products and Processing management team to deliver best-in-class products that generate value for both customers and end users, driving tangible business results.
Role Responsibilities: • Customer Experience Champion: Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure a consistent, unified, and high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.• Design Strategy Leadership: Prioritize design initiatives, address roadblocks, and provide clear direction as the central design voice during planning.• Fostering Collaboration & Innovation: Drive teamwork by hosting design workshops and reviews, involving partners, and creating collaborative opportunities to cultivate innovation.• Project Management Expertise: Manage complex design projects, overseeing scope, resource allocation, and timelines to deliver high-quality results that meet established goals.• Design Language Guardian: Establish and enforce design standards, ensuring visual design and user experience (UX) decisions align with these standards for a cohesive brand experience.• Design System Champion: Maintain and guard in the implementation of Made design system across all programs and products.• Sales and Narrative: Provide design materials to win new business and create narratives for pitch teams. • Quality Assurance: Review and approve design deliverables to maintain consistently high-quality standards.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Purchase, New York: $150,000 - $254,000 USD
