Nearly every breakthrough therapy in the R&D pipeline passes through Groton facilities and processes. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of cogeneration-based energy systems and electrical distribution networks, while optimizing energy performance, resiliency, and lifecycle management. The position partners with Utilities Operations, Maintenance, Digital/Automation, and Site Leadership to advance energy strategies, reduce demand, and modernize infrastructure through automation and control systems.
This role aligns with the broader Utilities Operations model focused on central utility plant performance, contractor governance, and long-term asset sustainability, while supporting business continuity and future site energy strategies.
This position will manage the outcomes of work performed by supplier partners responsible for comprehensive plant and building maintenance and operations while providing oversight and direction for resources supporting projects from concept through turnover. This role will have indirect budgetary responsibility for site utility operations and expense projects.
