MANAGER, RETAIL MARKETING
 
Summary:
At GSTV, it is our Mission to provide the highest quality and most engaging location-based digital video platform for advertisers, fuel retailers, and on-the-go consumers. We are passionate about helping our clients and retailer partners solve business challenges by creating meaningful connections with consumers and driving measurable business outcomes. We have a truly unique platform via a combination of national reach through our digital video network and local focus through our ability to target consumers in every community down to the retailer level. The ideal candidate will harness that power to ideate and create exciting and impactful narratives and programs, with the goal of taking GSTV to the next level in the eyes of the retailer and fuel & convenience industry stakeholders, growing existing partnerships, and expanding the GSTV network.
 
The Manager, Retail Marketing will lead marketing for our Retailer and network business, touching various teams such as Retail Media Partnerships, Retailer Success, IGNITE Creative & Content Studio, Marketing Communications, Client Solutions, Design, and Insights, to name a few. This role will lead and collaborate to develop thoughtful marketing and promotional programs alongside our Retailer Success and Industry Partnership teams to drive network growth and retailer retention. Working with teams across the organization, this role will develop concepts that focus on GSTV’s value proposition for retailers and then bring the stories to life.
 
We’re looking for someone with a passion for media, partnerships, events, and solutions. A collaborative spirit, results-oriented mindset, positive outlook, retail marketing background, passion for storytelling and proactive personality are a must. 
 
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·       Retailer Expansion
o   Support the growth of GSTV’s network supply working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and the external marketing teams of GSTVs distribution partners.
o   Create compelling sales materials telling the GSTV value proposition story through the lens of the convenience and fuel retailer.
o   Partner with the Insights team to develop on-going data sourcing and retailer-facing case studies
o   Support the achievement of the Distribution Partnership Team’s KPIs of network growth targets
·       Retailer Engagement and Retention
o   Lead strategic planning and Develop and execute marketing campaigns for retailer customer retention and engagement, in support of maintaining and improving best-in-class Net Promoter Score
·       Industry Marketing Projects
o   Lead collaboration across the Marketing team on presentations and collateral that align with Retailer Success Events (NACS, etc.), partnerships (Dover, Wayne, etc.), and additional initiatives that drive Retailer Success KPIs.
o   Work with the Retailer Success Team to create marketing briefs that highlight key objectives, outlines, and creative goals for all Retailer Success Projects
o   Collaborate with internal and external partners, industry trade associations and publications, and events to maintain and grow GSTV’s reputation and influence as a thought leader and innovator in the convenience and fuel space.
·       Retailer Promotion
o   Optimize internal process for creation of Retailer Promotional Ad (RPAs) units, working with Retailer Success and IGNITE Creative Studio teams
o   Work closely with the IGNTIE and Retailer Success teams to understand retailer needs, campaign objectives, and market trends to develop tailored marketing materials and promotional ads.
o   Oversee the production process of marketing materials and promotional ads from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
o   Establish a feedback mechanism to gather insights from retailers on creative effectiveness and areas for improvement to help drive in-store sales.

Requirements: 
The ideal candidate will have:
·       Excellent verbal & written communication abilities
·       Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead interdepartmental projects
·       Background in creative ideation & development
·       Multi-discipline marketing experience
·       Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services
·       Strong understanding of retail operations and customer behavior
·       Ability to derive insights from research and familiarity with a broad range of advertising/media tools
·       Copy/Script Writing
·       Account/Project Management
·       High energy with positive outlook
·       Creative, resourceful and detail-oriented

Education and/or Experience:
Experience:
·       4-5 years of related experience in marketing roles within the retail or convenience store sector or ad agency, with a focus on campaign execution and cross-functional collaboration.
·       Understanding of the media/advertising world with an interest in solving brand challenges
·       Experience/knowledge in the following is a plus: Microsoft Suite of Tools, Social Media Platform, Photoshop and email marketing tools
 
Education:
·       BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Media or relevant field.
