As a Revenue Strategy Manager, you will serve as a senior strategic advisor to Sales Leadership and Executive Management across Digital, Print, and Agency channels. You will lead the development and implementation of insights-driven strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance sales performance, and improve operational scalability. This role demands a strong blend of analytical acumen, business partnership, and leadership capability.

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

The Revenue Strategy team is a dynamic group of 15 individuals based across New York City, Des Moines, and remote locations. We specialize in turning complex data into clear, compelling narratives—particularly in support of Sales Leadership and revenue planning. About The Position’s Contributions | Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

  • Reporting & Forecasting:
    Own the development & execution of pacing, forecasting, and revenue trend reports. Translate insights into strategic guidance for Sales and Senior Leadership.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Help lead annual planning processes including account allocation, regional alignment, and revenue goal setting to optimize sales team structure and performance.
  • RFP & Pipeline Insights:
    Oversee analysis of RFP activity within designated sales verticals to track volume, revenue trends, seasonality, and advertiser needs (e.g., products, data, site alignment, KPIs).

  • Win/Loss Analysis:
    Develop new frameworks for tracking deal outcomes and lead analyses on win rates and sell-through to inform sales strategy and packaging.
  • Revenue Projections:
    Deliver revenue projections across key dimensions. Collaborate with Finance and Sales Ops to align forecasts with business planning.
  • Data Infrastructure & Visualization:
    Partner with the Digital Sales Systems team to build and maintain dashboards, daily snapshots, and automated reporting with validated data sources.

  • Performance Consolidation:
    Create unified views of sales performance and revenue health for executive-level business reviews and planning.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Lead market and competitor analysis initiatives to uncover growth opportunities and support go-to-market strategy.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in an analytics or role within digital advertising, media, marketing, finance, or ad tech.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Understanding of data and mechanisms through which data is collected and shared
  • Excellent analytical skills – Expertise in Excel & pivot tables
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools and related sales systems (Boostr, GAM, Operative, etc.) 
  • Familiarity using data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Sisense, etc., is a plus
  • Comfortability with G–Suite (gmail, sheets, slides, etc.) 
  • Passion for analyzing data and telling a holistic story for internal stakeholders
  • Ability to understand business data needs and translate into reporting requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of identifying opportunities to streamline and develop efficiencies in current processes 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees.
