About the Role

The Manager, Static Marketing Versioning will oversee the operational execution, trafficking, and delivery of creative marketing assets across Crunchyroll’s global marketing organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that completed assets are accurately prepared, governed, distributed, and received across markets and channels.

As a key partner across Marketing Production Management, the Manager will establish and maintain scalable production and delivery workflows that create a clear source of truth for final assets, improve visibility into deliverables, and enable teams to move assets efficiently from production completion through global activation.

Working cross-functionally, this role partners closely with Integrated Planning, Marketing Versioning, Regional Marketing, DAM/asset repository teams, Localization and Adaptation, Creative, and other stakeholders to establish clear ownership, delivery requirements, handoff expectations, and escalation paths.

As part of the Distribution Operations, Content and Marketing organization, this role will also drive process improvement, workflow governance, and operational excellence, identifying opportunities to reduce delivery friction, improve asset findability, minimize versioning defects and rework, and increase speed to market.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing Production & Delivery
  • Manage the end-to-end operational delivery of original and versioned creative marketing assets across global marketing campaigns, channels, and markets.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes for asset trafficking, delivery, receipt confirmation, and escalation.
  • Ensure all delivery requirements—including destination, market, deadline, recipient, format, and repository requirements—are confirmed before trafficking begins.
  • Establish clear definitions and status conventions for production complete, delivery ready, delivery complete, and regional acceptance.
  • Ensure final assets have accurate naming, version status, metadata, repository location, and other required delivery information.
  • Maintain visibility into outstanding deliverables and proactively identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect assets.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing teams to ensure successful receipt of assets and facilitate timely resolution of delivery issues.
  • Establish clear ownership boundaries between centralized asset delivery and regional activation.
Workflow & Process Optimization
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve scalable marketing production and delivery workflows.
  • Identify operational friction points and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and speed to market.
  • Drive adoption of standardized tools, workflows, and governance practices across stakeholder groups.
  • Reduce reliance on unmanaged distribution channels, including email, chat, and personal storage locations, by reinforcing governed repositories and delivery workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine trafficking, status reporting, and delivery updates.
  • Develop and maintain an improvement roadmap addressing DAM, metadata, workflow, and repository gaps.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as a central point of contact for Marketing Production Management across high-priority, high-volume, seasonal, and multi-IP initiatives.
  • Partner with Integrated Planning to translate campaign deliverable plans into actionable trafficking and delivery plans.
  • Partner with Marketing Versioning to establish clear acceptance criteria and ensure assets transition from creative completion to delivery readiness.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to establish receipt, acceptance, localization/adaptation, and escalation expectations.
  • Collaborate with DAM and Enterprise Technology stakeholders on repository governance, metadata standards, permissions, workflow requirements, and platform-related issues.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and facilitate alignment when requirements, ownership, or timelines are unclear.
Resource & Production Management
  • Strategically manage and prioritize internal and external production resources based on project volume, complexity, timing, and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate high-volume creative deliverables across designers, art directors, motion designers, agencies, and other production partners.
  • Manage high-priority initiatives that require coordination across multiple internal teams and external agencies.
  • Monitor capacity, dependencies, deadlines, and risks to ensure critical assets are delivered on time.
  • Escalate delivery risks and operational issues proactively, with clear recommendations and paths to resolution.
Governance, Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Establish and maintain standards for naming, metadata, versioning, final-status designation, destination, receipt confirmation, and escalation.
  • Track and report on delivery timeliness, versioning defects, asset findability, receipt confirmation, rework, repository issues, and other operational KPIs.
  • Identify recurring issues and develop sustainable solutions rather than one-off workarounds.
  • Establish clear documentation and governance practices that support accountability across the asset lifecycle.
  • Ensure workflows evolve alongside organizational objectives, business needs, and advancements in technology.
About You
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Project Management, Marketing Production, or a related field, preferably within the anime, media, entertainment, or streaming industry.
  • 5+ years of experience managing creative or media assets across print, digital, static, and A/V formats.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume, complex, cross-functional creative production workflows.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, versioning, trafficking, delivery, and repository governance.
  • Experience developing and implementing processes, workflows, and operational standards in a fast-paced organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish clarity and accountability across teams.
  • Experience working with internal creative teams, external agencies, and distributed/global stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration/project management tools.
  • Advanced project management skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear workflows and actionable plans.
