About the Team

The Strategy & Operations team owns the most consequential problems that don't belong anywhere else — from designing operating systems for new practice areas to the analyses that reshape how leadership thinks about the business. We're a small, high-leverage team that works directly with the C-suite and owns initiatives from conception to handoff.

Two of our core growth engines are the communities you'll own: Mission, our B2B network for corporate global mobility leaders, and the Extraordinary Ability Club (EAC), our B2C community for individuals pursuing Extraordinary Ability visas (EB-1A, O-1, EB2-NIW).

About the Role

We're hiring a Manager, Strategy & Operations to own Mission and EAC end to end — membership growth, engagement, retention, and conversion to Manifest Law clients. You'll operate at the intersection of community, marketing, legal, and product, and you'll be expected to own real numbers and consistently find new ways to drive value for members.

What You’ll Do
  • For Mission (B2B): Own the P&L and growth roadmap. Scale the community 10x in a year by building meaningful relationships with global mobility and immigration leaders at top enterprise brands. Design programming that gives them real reasons to show up — benchmarking studies, executive roundtables, webinars, and peer mentorship. Build the systems to track acquisition, activation, and engagement.

  • For Extraordinary Ability Club (B2C): Scale from thousands to tens of thousands of members by year-end. Build the acquisition channels, partnerships, and referral mechanics to get there. Drive engagement through courses, AMAs, expert panels, and accountability partner matching. Own the full conversion funnel from EAC member to paid Manifest Law client. Manage and mentor 2–3 community moderators.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in consulting, banking, growth, or a senior generalist role at an early-stage startup

  • A track record of owning a number — you can name the goal, the strategy, and the outcome

  • Equally strong at strategy and execution; you don't need either handed to you

  • A natural relationship-builder at scale — with enterprise leaders, community members, and your own team

  • Sharp communicator; you can write a memo and run a roundtable equally well

  • Genuine curiosity about immigration, community, or the future of legal services — you don't need to be an expert, but you need to care

  • Based in NYC; willing to work from our Flatiron office five days a week

This is for you if....

You're energized by building from scratch and turning big ideas into measurable results. You can move between crafting a growth roadmap and personally calling enterprise leaders without missing a beat. You genuinely love people — developing your team, hosting member dinners, turning community members into clients — and you thrive where relationship-building meets hard numbers.

This is not for you if....

You prefer structure over ambiguity, following playbooks over writing them, or managing programs over building them. If you're not genuinely energized by people and relationships, this isn't the role.
