Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.

If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

The Role

We're hiring a TPM Manager to own the sales forecasting, trade planning, and trade optimization experience for our customers. TPM sit at the center of what Confido automates for CPG brands, and this role is the connective tissue between our Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, and Product teams — making sure customers actually resolve trade faster and more accurately on our platform, not just process them.

You'll work hands-on with customer sales forecasting and trade plans to help new customers get their TPM workflows configured correctly during onboarding, and be the expert voice that tells Product where the platform's TPM logic needs to evolve.

What You’ll Do

Product & Engineering

  • Own the trade promotion management roadmap in partnership with Product and Engineering, prioritizing based on what brands actually need to plan, execute, and reconcile trade spend

  • Translate trade planning processes — sales forecasting, promotion planning, promotion optimization, financial reconciliation, and ROI reporting — into clear, buildable product requirements

  • Synthesize customer feedback, identify trends, and competitive intelligence into a prioritized set of product bets

Customer Success

  • Lead discovery and design sessions with customer trade, sales, and finance teams to map how they plan and execute trade spend today, and how it should work on Confido

  • Guide customers through TPM implementation — configuring promotion calendars, accrual rules, and deduction-matching logic — and train teams on how to run their trade spend operations in Confido

  • Build the playbooks, SOPs, and internal training that let Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success teams operate without you in the room — your expertise should scale, not bottleneck

Go-to-Market

  • Be Confido's voice on trade promotion management with customers, prospects, partners, and at industry events

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on discovery calls, deal support, and content that speaks credibly to trade, finance, and sales-ops audiences

  • Track how brands, retailers, and distributors are evolving their trade spend practices, and turn those shifts into competitive positioning and battlecards for the broader team

  • Build direct relationships with the retailers, brokers, and industry bodies that shape how trade programs get structured and reported

What We're Looking For

5+ years of hands-on trade planning experience at CPG brands, including direct responsibility for planning baselines and trade, executing plans, and reconciling trade yourself — extra points if you have implemented TPM systems

Fluency in the trade mechanics such as baseline planning, trade promotion types, rate base vs lump sum planning, accruals, off-invoice vs. bill-back, and how trade spend rolls up to gross-to-net revenue

A track record of turning operational expertise into product requirements, and comfort working directly with Engineering

Strong customer-facing instincts — you can run a discovery session, defend a design decision, and de-escalate an angry VP of Trade in the same week

Experience representing a product or point of view externally (webinars, conferences, analyst conversations)
