About Us

Solar Landscape is the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the U.S. Only 4% of commercial rooftops host solar today — we’re changing that, fast. Commercial rooftop solar is the fastest, smartest way to build new clean power — delivering megawatts of generation in months, not years, and powering America’s energy and future right where it’s needed most. By turning rooftops into local power plants, we’re reshaping how — and how fast — energy gets built in the U.S.

Recognized as the #1 Distributed Generation Developer by New Project Media, the #1 National Commercial Rooftop Solar Developer by Solar Power World, and winner of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Grand Prize for Clean Energy, Solar Landscape is defining the future of energy generation in America.

Headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Solar Landscape has offices in Chicago, Baltimore, and New York City and operates in over a dozen states nationwide.

We move fast, solve hard problems, and take our work seriously — but never ourselves. We value clear thinking, accountability, and execution. At the same time, we’re collaborative by default, and believe the best work happens when people enjoy working together. Our team is made up of smart, grounded people who show up for each other — whether that’s troubleshooting a system design or catching up over lunch.

If you’re looking to do meaningful work in a high-performance environment — and be part of the team reshaping how energy gets built in the U.S. — we’d love to meet you.

About The Role

As a member of the Value Management team, you will focus on understanding the value of Solar Landscape's growing portfolio of operating and pipeline community solar projects, and on supporting initiatives to increase project and platform value achievement. The Value Management team partners cross-functionally across the entire project lifecycle — from Business Development to Operations to Asset Management— to assess value drivers, identify opportunities to improve performance, and build frameworks that inform how the company allocates resources and makes go-forward decisions.

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to dive deep into the interplay between the operational and financial considerations on clean energy projects, as well as the strategic decisions required to expand from a portfolio of successful projects to a sustaining, growing clean energy platform.

Responsibilities

  • Drive analysis to measure value: Analyze data to calculate value KPIs, working with the Director - Value Management to define approach and assumptions, and partnering with stakeholders across the organization to gather and validate data
  • Plan and manage assigned workstreams: Draft workplans and manage execution to track all deliverables and deliver timely and accurate results
  • Serve as an expert: Build expertise on assigned analyses / segments of the business and serve as point of contact for the organization
  • Support strategic recommendations and key initiatives: Draw insights from analysis to support business recommendations. Support resulting projects related to maximizing project and company value
  • Collaborate across departments: Work closely with multiple teams to facilitate clear communication and execution of initiatives
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement: Prepare materials, presentations, and reports that clearly and succinctly communicate insights and drive to action
  • Enable scalability and efficiency: Develop standardized workflows, templates, and best practices to scale execution. Support automation of processes and data analysis in partnership with Technology team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting or similar strategic role, with a strong track record of problem-solving and working cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with renewables and an understanding of the renewable project finance capital stack
  • Strong analytical capabilities and an ability to generate creative approaches to overcome data challenges and synthesize information into actionable insights
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and take ownership of projects.
  • Passion for clean energy and interest in contributing to a sustainable future.
