Job Title: Managing Director, Investor Services

 

Locations: New York, NY; Union, NJ - Hybrid


About the Role

The Managing Director at SS&C Technologies, Inc. will lead and manage a significant business unit or regional operation, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and profitability. This role requires a visionary leader capable of fostering strong client relationships, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions within the financial services technology sector.

How You Will Make an Impact 

·       Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational efficiency improvements.

·       Oversee all aspects of the business unit's operations, including sales, client service, product development, finance, and human resources.

·       Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

·       Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion, product innovation, and strategic partnerships.

·       Lead and mentor a team of senior professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·       Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control, to ensure profitability and sustained growth.

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

·       Represent SS&C Technologies at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

·       Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the business unit.

 

Required Experience

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.

·       Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the financial services technology industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive role.

·       Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a significant business unit or regional operation.

·       Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business development, and financial management.

·       Strong understanding of financial markets, investment management, and relevant technology solutions.

·       Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

·       Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and drive client satisfaction.

·       Results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving business goals.

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex global environment.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

New Jersey: The expected base salary for the position is between $200,000 USD to $230,000 USD. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $200,000 USD to $230,000 USD.

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
