About CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense
CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense is focused on the design, development, and manufacture of specialty fluid and motion control products for demanding aerospace and defense applications. CIRCOR products are flying on most commercial and military aircraft, including single and twin aisle air transport, business and regional jets, military transports and fighters, and commercial and military rotorcraft. Other markets include unmanned aircraft, shipboard applications, and military ground vehicles.
Business units are in Corona, California; Warren, Massachusetts; Hauppauge, New York; Paris, France; Uxbridge, UK; and Tangier, Morocco. Parent company CIRCOR International is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, and CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense is headquartered in Corona, California.
Principal Activities
- Provide support for our entire product portfolio, including commercial and defense pumps and valves.
- Prepare the data packages required for the Disassembly, Clean, Inspection Process.
- Draft the Repairs reports indicating required rework, replacement, etc.
- Provide trouble shooting & diagnosis for repairs.
- Provide technical support to channel partners and service network, including the development of service aids, communications, and reference materials.
- Perform repairs or supervise technicians performing repairs in the field.
- Perform failure analysis and repair returned pumps. Prepare and present quotations for repair services.
- Drive Root Cause Corrective Action for pump testing and assembly First Pass Yield.
- Drive continuous improvement rigorously.
- Assist with development of maintenance, operations, and instruction manuals.
- Assist with overflow for other customer-facing department activities, including Customer Care and Application Engineering.
- Occasional travel both domestically and internationally.
Requirements
Education/Training/Experience
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience in servicing and troubleshooting rotating equipment, including centrifugal, screw type strongly preferred.
- Self-driven and able to self-manage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Continuous improvement and data analysis skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM, and ERP software systems
- US Citizenship is required for DOD requirements.
- Ability to obtain Confidential security clearance preferred, as we service products for the US government.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial and / or defense service.
- 2+ years of technical training and certification experience
Pay Rate: $32/Hour
