Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Marketing Assistant to support the Ingram Marketing Advantage (IMA) team.  This person will assist the IMA team with day-to-day execution of Ingram’s consumer marketing offerings. They will support the team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns and help ensure the timely completion of tasks related to campaign execution, reporting, creating presentations, and other marketing needs as needed. This person will be based in our New York office.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent year-for-year experience
  • 1 year of experience creating spreadsheets in MS Excel, including creating basic mathematical formulas and data manipulation using pivot tables

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building out basic designs using Canva
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel, to include VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains title marketing campaign reports, delivering to campaign leads for review and analysis.
  • Maintains the workflow for influencer mailings, including sell sheet curation, internal and external approvals, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Creates, organizes, and updates sales and marketing material, including marketing assets, book metadata, online storefronts and collections, and enhanced/premium product listings in online retail channels.
  • Communicates with publishers to obtain approvals on creative assets, ensuring feedback is incorporated and deadlines are met.
  • Uses Canva to design and produce marketing creatives at scale, leveraging templates to streamline asset creation across multiple campaigns and channels.
  • Assists with enrolling titles in promotional opportunities with online retailers and scheduling pricing updates.
  • Provides regular communication and campaign status updates to marketing and sales teams as needed.
  • Provides support for the preparation and updating of presentations for internal and external communication.
  • Assists with monthly expense reporting
  • Attends team stand-ups, actively participates, and captures next steps.
  • Assists with additional sales, marketing, and merchandising tasks as needed in support of digital marketing and ecommerce campaigns.

 

Hiring Salary Range: <$24.08/hr – $29.58/hr>. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position and will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
