Description:

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our Global Marketing and Communications team at Marsh Risk in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role you’ll support the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives across Marsh’s Risk business — from digital campaigns and content marketing to brand partnerships, events and media relations. You’ll work cross functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver compelling campaigns that advance our brand and commercial objectives. . You’ll also use new marketing technologies and generative AI to accelerate content development, optimize performance, and maintain brand safety and compliance. We will count on you to:

  • Execute and manage integrated marketing and communications campaigns from concept through launch, measurement, and optimization.
  • Develop, edit, and optimize high-impact content across channels, including social, email, blogs, presentations, and internal communications, to support commercial and brand goals.
  • Maintain brand voice, messaging consistency, and compliance across materials and regions while coordinating with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery and localization.
  • Manage project timelines, approvals, workflows, and performance reporting in a matrixed environment, while using martech and generative AI responsibly to improve speed, quality, and governance.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in professional services, financial services, insurance, or another complex B2B environment.
  • Experience working in a large, global, or matrixed organization, with the ability to coordinate across regions and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and organizational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, work with limited supervision, and use AI and modern martech responsibly across the content lifecycle; portfolio or work samples required.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $65,500 to $131,100.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
