PURPOSE:

This entry-level position is responsible for supporting the Brand and Marketing team. Overall responsibilities include day-to-day activities related to the commercialization of new & existing Godiva products following internal processes and procedures to activate SKUs in all internal systems.  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

  • Conducting research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior 

  • Supporting the Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan 

  • Learn and facilitate SKU management process (FTPs, Master Documents, PAT, training on new PAT system, setting up SKUs, and managing SKUs through commercialization process). 

  • Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to their team while providing instructions for promotion or use 

  • Planning and managing marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events and meetings 

  • Maintaining an inventory and directory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed 

  • Developing various types of marketing deliverables, including social media posts, blog posts and print materials 

  • Monitoring and analyzing metrics to track the success of marketing campaigns 

  • Managing and coordinating tasks outsourced to external vendors, such as printing companies 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential Criteria

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations during media events, product launches, product demonstrations and tradeshows 

  • Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects 

  • Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, print campaigns, digital marketing and email promotions 

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing metrics effectively 

  • High degree of accuracy, to ensure information is recorded appropriately 

  • Experience with computer software programs used for keyword research, A/B testing, database management and content creation 

  • Market research experience and an understanding of how to identify target audiences 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field. 

  • 1-2 years of professional work experience in marketing, data entry, communications, and/or brand management. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing and branding principles. 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Technical expertise using marketing tools, social media, phones, and devices 

  • Customer service and relationship management 

  • Familiarity with creating, executing, and managing digital marketing campaigns

  • Creativity and analytical thinking 

  • Excellent analytic and creative skills. 

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:

Base starting salary at $58,000/yr. The Base pay offered is based on market location and
may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
