About Valence

We're the only company pioneering leadership coaching for large enterprises in an AI-first way. Our mission is to transform how the world's biggest companies approach learning and development, helping teams work better together through AI-powered personalization that adapts to individual goals and organizational culture using the latest advances in machine learning and natural language processing.

Learn more about our work with Microsoft: Valence Brings AI Coaching More Deeply Into the Flow of Work with Microsoft 365

We've been featured in Harvard Business Review, TIME, World Economic Forum, Financial Times, Forbes and an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America. Our clients represent the most diverse and sophisticated enterprise AI implementations globally, including Coca-Cola, Delta, Nestlé, General Mills, Schneider Electric, Deutsche Telekom, AstraZeneca, Prudential, CVS and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Working at Valence means building the team behind one of the fastest-growing companies in enterprise AI. You'll recruit across GTM and technical roles for a business trusted by the likes of Coca-Cola, Delta, and Bristol Myers Squibb; partnering directly with leadership, owning your process end-to-end, and shaping who gets to define what AI-first transformation looks like. The bar is high, and you'll be the one who holds it.

The Role

This is the first dedicated designer on our marketing team who will have a chance to own how Valence and Nadia (our AI Coach) show up across every marketing surface, and to build and extend the creative foundation for a category-defining brand.

You'll sit on the Growth team and partner daily with our marketing and events leadership, as well with the broader commercial org. The work is multidisciplinary: one day you're designing social graphics, the next a website wireframe, an event booth, a sales one-pager, or polishing client-facing materials. We move fast, bring enterprise-level sophistication to everything we put in front of the world's largest companies, and treat AI as a teammate — so we're looking for someone who designs with the same instincts.

You'll have real ownership early, and the momentum of an AI-first company behind you.

What You'll Do

  • Design campaign creative across channels: paid and organic social, email, paid media, and landing pages.

  • Build website mock-ups and wireframes, and help bring them to life.

  • Create event collateral: booth design, signage, and on-site assets for summits, salons, and partner events.

  • Produce and polish external and client-facing assets including one-pagers, sales enablement materials, and key presentations.

  • Keep Valence and Nadia (our AI Coach) visually consistent by extending and maintaining our brand system, templates, and guidelines.

  • Use AI tools to move faster - prototyping concepts in leading models, generating and refining imagery, and shipping creative experiments.

  • Partner across marketing, sales, and product to turn strategy and proof points into beautiful, enterprise-ready creative that cements Valence’s leading position in the market.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of design experience (or a portfolio that clearly demonstrates the range below); bonus-points for in-house at a software/SaaS company or agency-side serving B2B clients.

  • A portfolio or work samples are required with your application.

  • Exceptional in Figma — comfortable with components, prototyping, and design systems.

  • Hands-on experience designing in Google Slides (and/or PowerPoint) for polished, on-brand presentations.

  • AI-forward: you actively use generative AI in your workflow. You are comfortable prototyping and know the latest image-generation tools — or you can demonstrably learn fast.

  • Range across surfaces — social, web, print/events, and presentations — and the judgment to balance many projects without dropping quality.

  • Strong collaboration and communication; you take feedback as fuel and work well across marketing, sales, and product.

What you'll get
  • Ownership & Rapid Growth

  • Outsized missions from day one, with direct responsibility for company-defining projects

  • Work alongside the executive team with transparency into strategy and decision-making

  • Influence on direction through real-time customer feedback and market insights

  • AI-First Operator

  • Work directly with cutting-edge AI models and next-generation platforms

  • Build expertise in enterprise AI implementation across Fortune 500 companies and multiple industries

  • Establish yourself as a recognized leader among peers in shaping how AI transforms work at a global scale

  • Compensation

  • Competitive salary including base + bonuses

  • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) from day one

  • Generous PTO, company-wide R&R shutdowns, and paid parental leave

  • Retirement plan support for US and global employees

  • Equity

  • Meaningful ownership in a venture-backed company at a growth inflection point

  • Financial upside that comes from scaling fast

  • Top-up grants as we scale and you deliver exceptional performance — your compensation grows alongside your impact

  • Top-Performing Culture

  • A culture built for top talent: intensity to win, growth without limits, and a team that solves hard problems and celebrates big wins together
