About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketing Intern to work on various projects and areas of Railbookers Group’s marketing efforts. This individual will collaborate with full-time staff while working independently to provide high-quality assistance and support while gaining valuable real-world experience in a part-time, seasonal role. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Document and provide suggestions for increased quality and effectiveness across a variety of marketing materials, including quotes, web pages, e-brochures and more.
  • Assist in the maintenance and organization of internal file structures and content, such as e-mail marketing software and SharePoint document library.
  • Perform competitive analysis by regularly seeking out and documenting marketing efforts from companies across the travel industry and beyond, and reporting findings on a regular basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Railbookers Group’s business and marketing strategy to evaluate effectiveness of collateral. 
  • Document and provide suggestions for increased quality and effectiveness across a variety of marketing materials, including quotes, web pages, e-brochures and more.
  • Assist in all other marketing tasks assigned by full-time staff.
Qualifications
  • Current college/university student or recent graduate, working towards or earning a degree in marketing or related field
  • Prior work experience or applicable academic projects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate feedback clearly and constructively 
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Interest and/or familiarity with the travel industry (preferred)
