About Us

BTC Inc. is the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, The Bitcoin Conference, and Bitcoin for Corporations. Our mission is Hyperbitcoinization, the global adoption of Bitcoin as the world's preferred monetary network. We believe Bitcoin opens the door to a global monetary network free from poor incentives, censorship, and government manipulation. Our journey to success involves decades of complex problem-solving, product development, and service creation in order to onboard billions of people into a future where money is more accessible, borderless, and inclusive. If you enjoy working on challenging problems, fast-paced sprints, and navigating ambiguity, you'll find our mission and type of work inspiring and rewarding.

The Role

You will own marketing strategy for BTC Inc's full portfolio of live events - from our flagship Bitcoin Conference (B27 in Nashville, July 2027) to our growing international series including Bitcoin Asia and Bitcoin MENA. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and serve as the strategic brain behind how we attract, convert, and retain the right audiences for every event we produce.

This is not an execution seat. You will define the strategy and hand it off with clarity and confidence to project management and content teams who run it across the finish line. Your impact is measured in how well your strategy translates, not how much you personally produce.

This isn't a hands-off seat though. The team is lean and the pace is real, and sometimes that means jumping into execution alongside them. You will also be the org's resident expert on the live events landscape - researching competitors, tracking activation trends across Bitcoin-native and adjacent industries, and continuously sharpening our understanding of who our audiences are and what actually moves them.

The Work

Marketing strategy

  • End-to-end marketing strategy for all BTC Inc live events: positioning, audience targeting, campaign architecture, channel mix, and messaging
  • Clear, delegable strategy briefs that give PM and content teams everything they need to execute without coming back for clarification
  • Ongoing strategy refinement based on live performance data - campaigns should get better in motion, not just between cycles
  • Audience profile development and maintenance across all events: who we're going after, why, and how that evolves over time

Market intelligence

  • Competitive research across the Bitcoin events space and adjacent industries (finance, tech, policy, and beyond)
  • Ongoing tracking of IRL activation trends and how peer and aspirational brands are marketing their live experiences
  • A living, organized view of the event marketing landscape that the broader team can actually reference - not a one-time report

Cross-functional alignment

  • Close partnership with the Head of Events on audience segmentation, ticketing strategy, and campaign timing
  • Coordination with Growth Marketing, Content, and Social on campaign execution
  • Alignment with sponsorship on event positioning and sponsor value story

Your Experience

  • 5-7+ years in event marketing or a closely adjacent field, with real experience owning strategy for large-scale live events - not just running execution
  • You know the difference between a strategy and a plan, and you can write the former clearly enough that someone else owns the latter
  • You're fluent in performance data and use it to make strategic decisions in real time
  • You've done competitive and audience research work before, and you know what makes it genuinely useful
  • You understand how IRL event experiences and digital marketing work together
  • You are a proactive communicator - you surface risk and opportunity early, not after the window has closed
  • You're comfortable in a fully remote environment and don't need an office to stay accountable or connected
  • You have experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM
  • You have experience with Notion or a similar workflow management platform
  • You use AI to work faster and smarter, and you're already building it into your day-to-day
  • You care about Bitcoin

Additional Benefits

In addition to working on a meaningful mission in a challenging environment, we also provide the following:

  • Unlimited Vacation
  • Company MacBook
  • Health, Dental, and Vision
  • Remote First / Your Schedule
  • 100% Paid Life Insurance and Disability
  • Work alongside a talented, fast-paced team solving complex problems
  • The opportunity to connect and network with the Bitcoin industry and leaders in the space
