Our Values

About the role

Justworks is building a connected go-to-market operating model across a multi-product platform with self-service, hybrid, partner, and managed-sales motions.

The Marketing Operations Manager — Funnel & Lifecycle will own the operational processes, data requirements, and business rules that help prospects and customers move through the right journey at the right time.

You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Customer Success to translate their strategies into effective intake, enrichment, scoring, routing, segmentation, nurture eligibility, and lifecycle triggers. You will use data and AI to help these teams make better decisions and identify where prospects and customers are getting stuck or overlooked.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. You will work closely with Campaign Operations to turn journey requirements into coordinated execution, and with GTM Technology and Analytics to ensure the underlying systems and measurement support those journeys.

What you’ll do
  • Map and improve prospect and customer journeys across products, channels, and self-service, hybrid, partner, and managed-sales paths.
  • Own lead-management processes including intake, enrichment, qualification, scoring, routing, handoffs, recycling, and re-engagement.
  • Partner with Marketing and other GTM teams to define how customer needs, behaviors, and signals should inform the next action.
  • Translate agreed strategies into audience definitions, eligibility criteria, scoring models, routing rules, lifecycle triggers, and suppression policies.
  • Define operational requirements for nurture, abandoned applications, closed-lost re-engagement, onboarding, adoption, retention, and cross-sell programs.
  • Partner with Campaign Operations to implement, test, and monitor those journeys across execution platforms.
  • Establish clear rules for ownership, response expectations, stage progression, contact frequency, exceptions, and handoffs between teams.
  • Identify funnel leakage, stalled journeys, conflicting outreach, and gaps in follow-up, then coordinate improvements.
  • Partner with GTM Technology to address data quality, enrichment, integrations, and event or signal requirements.
  • Partner with GTM Planning & Analysis to measure conversion, journey progression, routing accuracy, speed to lead, and handoff quality.
  • Use AI and experimentation to improve prioritization, segmentation, decision-making, and exception detection.
  • Maintain documentation, monitoring, and governance so journey rules remain reliable as the business evolves.
What you’ll bring
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, lifecycle operations, growth operations, or a related function.
  • Experience supporting a multi-product B2B technology business with both self-service or product-led and sales-assisted motions.
  • Strong knowledge of lead management, scoring, routing, segmentation, nurture, and lifecycle orchestration.
  • Experience translating business strategies into operational rules across CRM, marketing automation, and customer-engagement platforms.
  • Comfort working with firmographic, behavioral, product-usage, engagement, and customer data.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to identify why prospects or customers are failing to progress.
  • A track record of improving processes across teams and systems.
  • Excellent cross-functional partnership skills and the ability to build agreement around shared decisions.
  • Practical experience using AI and automation to improve GTM operations.
What success looks like
  • Prospects and customers enter appropriate journeys and receive timely, relevant follow-up.
  • Routing, handoffs, nurture eligibility, and lifecycle rules are clear, accurate, and trusted.
  • Fewer prospects and customers are lost, stalled, misrouted, or exposed to conflicting outreach.
  • Marketing and GTM teams use shared journey definitions and have visibility into where improvements are needed.
  • Journey improvements contribute to stronger conversion, adoption, retention, and expansion.
