Position Overview

This Content Marketing Manager will play a major role in growing the Catalyst brand and long-term inbound demand function. You will be responsible for strategizing and executing on content and social, ensuring that Catalyst has an industry-leading presence in these critical channels across the web.


As an early member of the marketing team, you’ll gain experience in a wide range of marketing disciplines—content, social, PPC, marketing ops, SEO, demand generation, community, analytics and more. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and is a great opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their marketing career at a fast-growing enterprise software startup. 


Experience as a Customer Success Manager (CSM) is a highly valuable asset for this position.


What You’ll Do

  • Create engaging B2B/SaaS content on topics important to the Customer Success space
  • Partner with Community to develop Catalyst’s voice online and execute on our social strategy
  • Use demand generation techniques that drive prospects into and through our funnel
  • Use data and ROI analyses to guide our content and social strategy
  • Be Catalyst’s editor-in-chief and manage all content initiatives and contributors
  • Work with design and development to develop content projects from ideation through launch
  • Host virtual events (webinars, panels, etc.) on topics important to Customer Success professionals
  • Leverage on-page SEO techniques to quickly grow Catalyst’s organic search presence
  • Find ways to scale our content presence both on and off the Catalyst website
  • Work cross-functionally to incorporate input from Sales, Customer Success, and Product into content marketing strategy 


What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrated experience as a content creator in the Customer Success space
  • Passion for Customer Success and the CS community
  • Familiarity with the Customer Success industry, thought leaders, products, etc.
  • Fluency in the latest social media trends and platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Understanding of on-page SEO best practices
  • A data-driven mindset and understanding of Google Analytics
