Atlassian is looking for a Content SEO Manager to join our growing SEO team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to drive and contribute to the content roadmap for some of our most popular products including JIRA, Confluence, and Trello. Your work will be critical to Atlassian's growth and will impact the search experience of millions of monthly users.
Reporting to the SEO Team Lead, you will join a team of content and technical SEO professionals dedicated to supporting the growth of our portfolio of global software brands.
The ideal candidate for this role has:
- Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience working with content in an SEO capacity - ideally in a high-growth software or e-commerce company, focused on creating and implementing content strategies
- Content Chops: You have experience performing keyword research, finding content gaps, monitoring competitors, and partnering with stakeholders to create content that performs well in organic search and connects with our target audience
- SEO Know-How: Plan, execute, and measure strategies to develop and optimize content across Atlassian's portfolio of blogs, microsites, and product landing pages
- Charisma: You'll need to influence cross-functional teams by building compelling business cases for content production and optimization
- Analytical Capabilities: Partner with analytics and data science to provide program results, market insights, and opportunities to a cross-functional team that includes product managers, designers, and engineers
- Proven Excellence in: Written and verbal communication, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and organization
What you'll do:
- Lead content strategy & build roadmaps across your portfolio to drive sustainable organic growth and first page results for Atlassian products
- Collaborate with Product & Content Marketing Managers, Technical SEO, and more to create or optimize landing pages, subdomains, and microsites that reflect Atlassian products' value proposition and customer needs
- Utilize data from internal analytics and 3rd party tools to identify content gaps and help partner teams prioritize the most impactful work
- Report on monthly and quarterly progress against OKRs and project goals to keep stakeholders informed on SEO performance
- Perform ongoing competitive analyses and content audits to identify opportunities to grow traffic for critical search terms in multiple languages/countries
- Collaborate with relevant cross-functional departments, including Product Marketing, and Analytics, to implement and optimize world-class SEO strategies
- Collaborate with the Marketing Analytics team to refine reports and insights that accurately measure the impact of tests and projects
- Educate stakeholders on SEO best practices through training, documentation, and team workshops
- Manage relationships with our vendors and agency partners to help scale our SEO efforts
- Stay informed on current SEO best practices to ensure that Atlassian gains and retains SEO leadership in its industry

The SEO team's focus is organic traffic growth, increasing ROI and growing active users. Our highly collaborative team works closely with technology, product marketing and marketing analytics to build integrated campaigns and define a marketing strategy that allows for a consistent customer experience across all channels.
