The Marketing Manager, Spanish Literacy Solutions is a key player on a fast-moving, cross-functional team. The Marketing Manager views themselves as critical to the success of the product, sales, and marketing teams, and is energized by the opportunities Amplify has to positively impact the lives of millions of students. Literacy Spanish Solutions will play a central role in bringing Amplify's new Spanish elementary literacy programs to market. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and implementing thought leadership programs and messaging designed to educate the market on critical biliteracy issues and reach a wide audience, including general and bilingual educators at the classroom, building, and district levels.
The Marketing Manager will collaborate with key partners to develop and implement a comprehensive thought leadership strategy that will include developing expert panels, creating webinar and event programs, coordinating dual language podcast episodes, and driving the creation of content marketing assets. The ideal candidate collaborates well, communicates effectively, and prioritizes projects to meet the needs of contending demands ensuring that our work accurately presents our inclusive, diverse brand.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager, Spanish Literacy Solutions:

  • Lead and implement thought leadership initiatives (events, conference planning and attendance, podcast, content development, building and using influencer network) that increase awareness of biliteracy issues and Amplify's Spanish literacy solutions
  • Partner with external and internal biliteracy authorities, including the VP, Spanish Solutions, to educate the market on biliteracy issues
  • Develop a deep understanding of market needs-including nuances and regional variations-and communicate them to internal key partners in Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Lead the creation of a bilingual educator newsletter and community
  • Advise messaging and positioning for Amplify's Spanish literacy solutions
  • Support Product Marketing Managers by co-developing marketing collateral, webpages, blog posts, and sales enablement tools across the biliteracy suite
  • Collaborate with the Product Teams to create content, assets, and sales training to support go-to-market strategy for the biliteracy suite
  • Write emails, landing pages, ads, social posts, and content marketing assets for biliteracy thought leadership initiatives
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers, implement digital programs that drive awareness and marketing-generated bookings for Amplify's Spanish literacy solutions


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Education or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing or partnership development within education publishing and/or bilingual education experience
  • Ability to coordinate projects across multiple internal and external key partners
  • Native or bilingual (Federal ILR Level 5) proficiency of the Spanish language, with a strong command of its nuanced rules in spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Full professional proficiency (Federal ILR Level 4) verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of bilingual education trends


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with external subject authorities including authors and researchers
  • Knowledge of the Science of Reading and research-based literacy practices
  • Knowledge of specific bilingual education markets (e.g., CA, TX)
  • Experience marketing core, assessment, or supplemental dual language literacy solutions
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience working in the educational technology or publishing industry
