Description:

Insightful seeks a Marketing Operations specialist to scale its marketing function using MarTech and analytics. As interim head of this function (convertible to full-time following the internship period), you'll ensure data-driven, efficient marketing processes and a well-integrated tech stack. You should be process-driven, curious about B2B business models, knowledgeable about MarTech/SalesTech, and eager to learn new systems for scaling an AI and SaaS business. This role bridges marketing, technology/product, and sales, with hands-on accountability for revenue-supporting automation, including AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and clearly document the company’s marketing technology strategy.
  • Work on technology and analytics projects across business functions in addition to marketing, including close collaboration with sales, customer service, product management and product engineering.
  • Develop vision for marketing technology architecture, including various predictive models, and efficient workflows across marketing disciplines from advertising to email and everything in between.
  • Create scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing, and analyzing marketing performance data.
  • Collaborate with both frontline marketers and senior leaders to accurately measure campaign performance and achieve accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Coordinate closely with external agencies and vendors to ensure proper implementation of web analytics and multi-touch attribution solutions.
  • Work with marketing team leaders to implement overarching processes across internal and external marketing functions.

You are a great fit for this role, if you have:

  • Current MBA student in good standing; 2nd year preferred. This internship requires 2 days in-office. 
  • BA/BS with concentrations in computer science, marketing, business, finance or accounting are preferred. Work experience of 3-4 years is preferred.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven marketer or business operations expert. 
  • Preferred skills include proficiency in email deliverability, website analytics, A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, CRM processes and automation and email optimization.
  • Experience with analytic techniques, statistical modeling, and web analytics.
  • Strong skill with extracting patterns and action items from data. 
  • Excellent communications skills when working with teammates who may be either data-driven or more qualitative.
  • Expert use of Hubspot, Looker Studio, and Google Analytics is a job requirement.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools including Notion and JIRA for documentation is a must. 
  • Deep understanding of web-related behaviors and trends and ability to optimize for these.
  • Proficient use of various LLM-based artificial intelligence applications is required.
