The Opportunity
Vessel is growing rapidly, with scores of projects in planning, and we’re looking for an exceptional Mechanical Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be crucial in developing innovative, sustainable housing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, process engineers, and project managers, to design and develop mechanical systems that align with our mission to revolutionize the housing industry.
Who You Are
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
· 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, product design, or product development
· Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, simulation, and design validation
· Experience with DFM/DFA principles and an understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
· Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems is a plus
· Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
· Strong communication skills for presenting design concepts and collaborating across teams
· Project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
