Straub Collaborative is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Merchandise Coordinator to support the flow of client merchandise through our fast-paced photography production studio. This role is critical to ensuring products move seamlessly from receipt to shoot to return - enabling our production teams to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
This position is a backfill for a key role supporting ongoing client work and studio operations.
What You'll DoYou will manage the full lifecycle of merchandise within the studio environment - from intake through shipping.
Core Responsibilities- Receive, secure, tag, and document incoming merchandise
- Enter product data into tracking systems or sample management tools
- Maintain organized product storage areas and ensure cleanliness
- Notify teams of product arrivals and resolve merchandise issues
- Distribute items according to shoot schedules and collect items post-production
- Track product status and location using databases and spreadsheets
- Prepare and pack merchandise for return to clients
- Coordinate shipping methods, carriers, and couriers
- Maintain shipping and prep supplies
- Participate in pre-production or client meetings as needed
This role ensures merchandise moves efficiently through the studio so production teams have what they need to meet client quotas.
What You BringRequired Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years merchandising experience
- 2+ years shipping/receiving experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate data entry skills
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to sort/filter data and manage spreadsheets
- Experience with database or tracking tools preferred
- Mac OS experience preferred
- Familiarity with digital communication platforms (Teams, Webex, etc.) preferred
Experience working in studio production, retail merchandising, warehouse, or e-commerce environments is highly valued.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand on a studio floor for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for packing, tagging, and data entry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to move throughout warehouse/studio areas
