Job Title:Multilingual IT Project Manager

Summary:The IT Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple concurrent projects, following Momentive’s IT project methodology from Kick-Off through Closing. Projects will vary in size, scope, technology, and the stakeholder groups involved. The IT Project Manager collaborates with other IT and Business staff to provide project leadership. This is an internal IT organization supporting infrastructure and software within the company. The IT Project Manager will be responsible to translate and facilitate functional and technical discussion in a Korean-English multilingual setting, both in-person and in remote meeting settings.
The ideal profile has existing experience as an IT Project Manager in an internal IT organization, with experience delivering or implementing software. You are detail-oriented, and well-organized, with demonstrated experience facilitating decision-making.

Responsibilities Include:
  • With minimal oversight, plan, organize, and direct the completion of IT projects of medium and high complexity while ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.

  • In collaboration with the Business Project Manager, define and document scope, requirements, and design.

  • Define and monitor project schedules using project management software. Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed.

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare status reports tailored to varying stakeholder groups. Prepare project data and metrics for reports to IT leadership.

  • Track and manage technical delivery, organize cross-functional testing.

  • Monitor and manage project budget, support project procurement processes.

  • Coordinate post go-live support activities between deployment and closure.

  • Provide verbal translation and facilitation in project meetings, both in-person and in remote meeting settings.

    Translate documents and communications as needed between Korean and English versions.

  • Other limited duties within the team, as assigned.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Min 4-8+ years of experience working as an IT Project Manager, independently managing medium and large scale cross-functional projects.

  • Leadership skills, with the ability to prepare, inspire, and motive a team towards project objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills, at all levels of the organization. Experience presenting and facilitating, as well as tailoring communications for different audiences.

  • Bilingual English & Korean, verbal and written.

  • Experience in documentation, including functional or technical specifications, or process mapping.

  • Outstanding organizational and administrative skills.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or another relevant field.

  • Understanding of IT fundamentals and major technology platforms.

  • Experience working in a global delivery organization.

  • Demonstrated experience using common project management software.

The following are preferred for the role

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Experience with an enterprise ERP system.

  • Analytic experience, in any discipline.

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $90,000 - $132,000

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
