About Leap
Leap is building the world’s largest network of branded retail stores - powered by data, systems, and scale. Our platform enables modern brands to launch and operate physical stores that work in concert with ecommerce - faster, smarter, and with significantly less risk.

We’re not experimenting - we’ve already powered 100+ stores for some of the most exciting brands in the country, and we’re accelerating. At Leap, people are at the core of the product. We’re building the next generation of retail infrastructure - and the team that will define it.

Why This Role

  • Ambition: Build one of the most ambitious platforms in retail alongside top founders and operators.

  • Ownership: Real ownership of the full sales cycle with the ability to shape outcomes early.

  • Impact: High-stakes exposure to the most exciting consumer brands in the market.

  • Growth: A compelling NYC growth role for those who want to operate at a high level and build something meaningful.

About the Role
We’re building a world-class sales organization. This is not a plug-and-play sales role; it is an opportunity to help define how Leap goes to market, who we partner with, and how we win.

As a National Account Executive, you will own deals end-to-end, from first conversation through signed contract, and play a key role in shaping how our platform evolves. You’ll work across teams—real estate, marketing, finance, operations—and be dropped into high-stakes conversations with founders and executives at top brands.

Role Location
This role is based in New York City with an expectation to be in the office at least three days a week.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business: Own the full sales cycle - from sourcing and qualification through underwriting, pitching, negotiation, and close.

  • Create opportunity: Match supply (real estate) with demand (brands) to generate compelling store proposals.

  • Think like an operator: Analyze brand P&Ls and retail economics to structure smart, winning deals.

  • Tell the story: Clearly articulate Leap’s platform, value proposition, and long-term vision to prospective partners.

  • Build the machine: Partner with Marketing and leadership to refine pitch materials, processes, and sales infrastructure.

  • Represent Leap: Be a trusted, high-integrity face of the company in the market.

Experience

  • 3–7 years in sales, business development, or growth in a high-performance environment.

  • Closing Complex Deals: Experience with multi-stakeholder contracts and $25K+ deal values.

  • Strategic Communication: Strong customer-facing skills with proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel for business modeling.

  • Industry Knowledge: A background or deep interest in retail and real estate economics.

  • Business Acumen: Ability to analyze brand P&Ls and build business cases for expansion.

  • Travel: Ability to travel (intermittent, but may be as high as 30% at times) to meet with industry partners.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently sourcing and closing high-quality brand partnerships.

  • Driving new store openings and contributing to Leap’s national footprint.

  • Building meaningful relationships with leading consumer brands.

  • Helping shape the playbook for how Leap scales

Salary Range Transparency

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $100,000-110,000. This role is commission-eligible with on-target earnings up to 100% of salary. All corporate roles are eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level and experience.
