About the role

The role of National Business Advisor, Rentals (NBA) is to support, retain and grow advertising with our current Partners. The NBA will help Partners reach their business goals.

As a remote NBA, this role will support the immediate needs of Partners without assigned sales support of a Business Advisor or Sales Executive. You will be placed into a role with an assigned book of business of currently advertising Partners based on the needs of the business.

You Will Get To:
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Zillow Group, representing the best interests of the company, its advertisers, and industry partners.
  • Mentor, empower and educate partners on our products and services critical to shared goals.
  • Consistently meet and exceed success metrics, including revenue and retention.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews of assigned Partners to assess their goals, results and make recommendations.
  • Utilize reports to analyze data and effectively communicate strengths and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in local real estate trends, compliance, activity, and overall landscape of your assigned market.
  • Use the Zillow Group tech stack to monitor and execute your business.
  • Be an expert in all Zillow Rentals Network products and services.
  • Use Salesforce.com and SalesLoft to log activity, handle your calendar and opportunities.
  • Clearly communicate performance expectations to clients internally and externally.
  • Excel in high level conversations and presentations with decision makers with the focus on building positive relationships in order to drive business results.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to influence product, marketing and sales process and improvement.
  • Execute against the MEDDPICC sales process and adopt Challenger principles in every customer interaction to drive insight-led, value-based conversations

This role has been categorized as a Field position. “Field” employees perform the majority of their work in a specified geographic location set by their management team. Employees are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance to their region and/or service area. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications regarding time commitment and cost of daily commute.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $36.70 - $58.50 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $34.80 - $55.60 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you areWho You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business to business sales and/or selling into accounts with complex/multiple decision makers.
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and other key performance metrics.
  • Possess high energy and a strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” demeanor via the phone and in person.
  • High degree of ownership and dedication to work quickly and accurately in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and utilize time management.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for high level conversations with decision makers and influencers.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
  • Proficient use of excel and Salesforce and other data analytic tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred.
