Job Description

Position: .Net Architect
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 18 Months
1. Seeking a qualified candidate with 10+ years of experience in software development/engineering and architecture in .NET preferred. Qualified candidates must have proven experience in a mentor-ship/leadership position.
2. Candidate must have experience working with New York City Departments, preferred with Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
3. Hands on experience building high traffic websites using Dot Net, SQL Server, and associated technologies. 10+ years of programming experience with minimum 3+ years of architecture responsibility and 5+ years of strong Dot Net/SQL Server experience.
4. Experienced in architecting and building Electronic Medical Records solution. 
5. In-depth knowledge of achieving highly scalable solutions with knowledge/exposure working in NYC projects, Web Standards, web-performance and optimization techniques.
6. Strong experience working with n-tier architectures, experience with service-oriented, design patterns, web security standards and practices
7. Must have demonstrated experience with large-scale transactional systems, demonstrated team-lead experience, creating estimates/WBS, ensuring quality, global delivery interaction and coordination, working in Agile process model.
8. Technologies: Fluent in .NET Framework 4.5, MVC 4.0 or higher, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2012 R2, Windows 2012 Servers running IIS 7.0, SSRS 2012, SharePoint, SOAP, SOA, Web API, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML, Entity Framework, XML and related technologies.
