Responsibilities include incident resolution, root-cause analysis, network installations, platform refreshes, service turn-ups, automation development, monitoring, documentation, change management, mentoring, on-call support, data-center visits, audits, and infrastructure projects.
The Network Operations Analyst will deliver first‑, second‑, and third‑line technical support, maintenance, and monitoring of Cantor International Services Limited's highly available global financial network. The role blends day‑to‑day troubleshooting with automation initiatives, AI‑driven problem solving, and participation in infrastructure design and implementation projects across data‑center and enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day network support and resolve incidents within business recovery targets.
- Lead root‑cause analysis for internal and customer outages and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide technical assistance to other teams and mentor junior staff.
- Execute project tasks such as new installations, platform refreshes, and service turn‑ups (CDN, VPN, Extranet).
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts and AI‑based tools to reduce manual effort.
- Create and update infrastructure documentation, design diagrams, and service review reports.
- Maintain and enhance enterprise monitoring solutions, reviewing new tools and practices.
- Implement BAU changes (break‑fix, moves, adds, changes) following the change management process.
- Participate in on‑call rotation (including weekends) and a weekday shift rota covering 08:00‑16:00 or 12:00‑20:00 GMT.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties such as data‑center visits, network audits, and power‑maintenance support.
- Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching certification.
- JNCIA‑Junos certification.
- Wireless networking certification (e.g., CWNA or equivalent).
- Strong fundamentals in Junos OS and Cisco IOS configuration and monitoring.
- Hands‑on experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and route manipulation.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers from implementation to operation.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience in a high‑volume, high‑availability financial trading environment.
- Experience designing, installing, and supporting enterprise Wi‑Fi (Extreme Networks a plus).
- Creative, curious approach to applying AI tools for network operations and troubleshooting.
Compensation Expextations: $160,000 - $170,000 Total Comp
